It is one of the four apartments comprising the whole top floor of an historical Palazzo found in the west side of Castello District, only a few minutes’ walk from San Marco Square.
The building is accessible by private water taxi from the Marco Polo airport in only 20 minutes and it takes less than 5 minutes’ walk to reach the Vaporetto/Alilaguna (ferry boat) stop San Zaccaria, thus very central.
In the surroundings there are lots of artisan and antique ateliers, local food shops and delicious osterie (traditional restaurants). Some of the cultural landmarks that can be found close by in Castello beside the well-known Arsenale and Biennale Gardens include Basilica Santi Giovanni e Paolo, Scuola di San Giorgio degli Schiavoni, Church of San Giorgio dei Greci, Campo Santa Maria Formosa, Church of San Zaccaria and many others.

The Alighieri “C” shares the same communal terrace and great view of the other 3 apartments, maximizing the bedroom comfort while offering less living room space compared to Alighieri “B” and “D”. All four apartments can be rented together for groups of up to 12 people, just book directly the Palazzo Alighieri.
