The reality of this stunning apartment was every bit as good as the pictures - it was superb. High quality, beautifully maintained, and in a fantastic location within an original palazzo with soaring ceilings, we were very impressed with everything. Watching the gondolas and boat traffic from the balcony was unique and wonderfully relaxing, and the apartment itself made our holiday the best one ever. The location couldn’t be better, just five minutes from San Marco and five minutes from Rialto. The service from Truly Venice, both from England before our arrival and in Venice during our stay, was excellent. Anna met us from the water taxi and was lovely, and the agency even helped when I couldn’t find the water taxi office at the airport. We highly recommend Truly Venice and their apartments, so professional, attentive, and perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Alba d’Oro is in the most extraordinary location, right on the edge of the Grand Canal with the magnificent façade of Ca d’Oro directly ahead and the bustling fish market to the right. It was a constant delight to watch the light change on the water and the buildings throughout the day. Access is incredibly easy, with the Rialto Mercato waterbus stop just a five-minute walk away. The flat itself is beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and wonderfully comfortable. Any questions or concerns we had during our stay were handled quickly and efficiently by Truly Venice’s local team. When I saw the photographs of the Dogaressa Apartment, I dreamed of staying there, and my husband agreed! Our stay at Dogaressa was wonderful and truly a privileged experience, especially enjoying the views of the Grand Canal and Santa Maria della Salute from the wooden terrace. Daniela was incredibly helpful in preparing for our stay, arranging water taxis, accommodating my husband who arrived early, and even assisting us in retrieving luggage that had missed our flight. The apartment is in the best location in Venice and is simply beautiful. We loved hearing the gondolas slapping the waves and the gentle lapping of water against the stone walls of our bedroom. Thank you—our stay was truly memorable, and we very much enjoyed every moment.

This is the ultimate Venice apartment. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from Rialto and San Marco Square, yet tucked away in a quiet area. Everything you could need, from grocery stores and markets to restaurants, wine bars, and the must-visit Gelateria Su So, is just steps away. The stairs are easy to navigate, even for travelers over 70, and the balconies offer breathtaking views over two smaller canals, where gondoliers sing and Venetian life unfolds before your eyes. The apartment is beautifully designed, blending modern comforts with Venetian Old World charm. It is clean, spacious, and comfortable, with superior bedding that ensured the best sleep, and the two bathrooms with excellent showers exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, this place felt like a true home away from home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, easily the best we’ve ever had in Europe, and the rooftop patio became our favorite spot to watch the sunsets and unwind each evening. We loved the convenience of the private water taxi, which dropped us just 20 steps from the door, and having AC in every room made exploring Venice much more enjoyable.
