Osteria alla Vedova (€€)

Large choice of cicchetti to eat while standing up and drinking an “ombra” (small glass of house wine) but it is also a great restaurant. One of our favorite places for an authentic Venetian dinner. Surely one of the most traditional Osteria in Venice and much loved by locals. Credit cards not accepted

Vino Vero (€)

Located in one of the most picturesque and beautiful areas of the city, Vino Vero is located in Fondamenta della Misericordia just in front of San Marziale Church. The wine bar has a selection of natural and biodynamic wines mainly from small producers, the wine tasting can be accompanied by venetian “chicchetti” (tapas) which are the result of a fusion between venetian tradition and florentine taste. During the good season – spring and autumn – on Thursday nights you can often find live music.
