Recently renovated, it is found at the 2nd floor of an historic Palazzo long-time owned by a Venetian family. It is full of natural light and is elegantly furnished with beautiful antiques smartly blended with contemporary pieces. The original XIX century Venetian Terrazzo flooring and the tall ceilings perfectly merge with the original Murano Glass Chandeliers from the Pauly Collection, the paintings decorating the walls and the textured fabrics of curtains, beds and sofa. The result is a classic Venetian and comfortable ambience which accommodates anyone’s taste.
Beside the exquisite interior design, the great plus of the Traviata apartment is definitively the scenic view on the little square called “Campiello” enjoyable from the living room and master bedroom, and the side views on picturesque Canals surrounding the building.
The apartment is laid out on about 120 square meters and is composed of a large living and dining room (the so called “salone”) furnished with a big and very comfortable double sofa-bed, an antique library full of interesting books, and an antique wooden table that can seat up to 6 people. Next to it, a spacious and fully functional kitchen equipped with a set of professional cooking pots, pans, utensils, tableware and porcelains, large fridge with freezer, 4 gas stoves, dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine and American coffee maker.
The huge master bedroom features a king size bed, while the second bedroom can be prepared either with a queen size bed or two single beds, on request. There are two full bathrooms with luxury shower cabin, of which the second is en-suite. Every room is equipped with an efficient air-conditioning system and there is climate-controlled heating, free Wi-Fi internet connection and a Smart TV in the living room.
The Traviata apartment (named after the well-known Opera from Giuseppe Verdi, first performed in 1853 at La Fenice Theatre) is one of the 7 units available in this Palazzo and can be combined with the Aida apartment, also found at the same level door to door: a perfect solution for groups of up to 10 people.
We highly recommend the Traviata apartment for 4 demanding guests who are looking for a truly charming and exclusive home, but the apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people for short stays also.
About the location: possibly the best in Venice’s historical centre for its quietness, beauty and central position. The Vaporetto stop and the supermarket are only two minutes’ walking distance and there are plenty of excellent restaurants and cafés nearby, while the high-street luxury brand boutiques are all in a 10 minutes’ walking distance.
