The Querini is a spacious and tasteful apartment strategically located only 2 minutes’ walk from the Rialto Bridge and 5 minutes’ walk from San Marco Square.
The big plus of this apartment, besides the great location and the quality of the accommodation, is the large wooden roof-top terrace, the so called Altana, where you can dine open-air, have a drink or just sunbathe.
The Querini is a second-floor apartment of about 120 square meters, recently renovated and smartly furnished to please the most demanding guests. Walking in the entrance room you immediately understand that this is a real home, not an impersonal tourist accommodation. In fact, the spacious and cozy living room furnished with beautiful antiques easily communicates with a very functional and airy kitchen, equipped with every possible amenity (except the oven!). The canal view enjoyable from the living room and kitchen windows is not particularly open but definitely picturesque.
The sleeping area on the back of the house is accessible through a corridor from the living room, thus very quiet, and is composed of two big bedrooms and two brand new and well-appointed mosaic tiled bathrooms. The mattresses are truly comfortable (1 king size and 2 singles that can be used also as double) and there is plenty of closet and storage space. The terrace is easily accessible from one of the bedrooms through a short staircase (about 10 steps) and it is furnished with a table, 4 chairs and 2 sun chairs.
Appliances include air-conditioning in every room, Wi-Fi internet connection, TV, DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, four burners stove, fridge and freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, hairdryer, etc. We suggest the Querini to couples, group of friends or families, be it for romantic escapes or long-term stays, you won't be disappointed!
About the strategic location: being on the border of the San Marco District allows you to easily reach public transports and main landmarks, while being on the border of the Castello and Cannaregio Districts enables you to experience a non-touristy and slow-paced holiday, still finding supermarkets, local shops, cafés and restaurants just around the corner.
Some of the less-known but absolutely spectacular tourist attractions in the vicinity are the nearby Chiesa dei Miracoli, Basilica Santi Giovanni e Paolo (perfect for a coffee on the stunning square), and Campo Santa Maria Formosa whit its prestigious historic Palazzos. The surroundings are an infinite source of inspiration, on every bridge or Fondamenta the view is truly Venetian.

We had a wonderful stay at Querini apartment! We loved the location; it is close to the Rialto Bridge, the Rialto market, St. Mark's and grocery stores which was a big plus! The apartment had a cart to use for grocery shopping which helped a lot. The apartment was very well appointed, particularly the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and the linens very nice. The living room was comfortable as well. It was great to have a terrace, however, when we were there it was a little too hot to enjoy. We look forward to our next visit to Querini!

October 2023, Lois (USA) Excellent location for all of the sights and popular Venice attractions. The apartment was clean and well equipped with everything you could need. The representative met us from the water taxi (which Truly Venice arranged) and walked us to the apartment, even though it was an evening check in. There is a lovely bakery a minute from the door which serves croissants in the morning and delicious pizza from lunchtime through into the evening. You can easily explore the city on foot from this location. I would definitely recommend the apartment and Truly Venice. Try to book any popular sights fast track online as the queues can be horrendous! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Our three-week stay in the Querini apartment was delightful---we want to thank Daniela, Veronica, Enrico, and the cleaning staff for providing this very comfortable and serene "home away from home." The apartment was spacious, well-equipped and immaculate, and the location was perfect for exploring all the glories of Venice. This was our eighth trip to Venice, but our first with Truly Venice--from beginning to end everyone was unfailingly helpful and courteous. We look forward to working with them again.
We had a phenomenal experience visiting Venice. The apartment was perfectly located, spacious and well appointed. We were greeted in person and everything was explained to us clearly and with respect. We cannot fault the stay in any way, it was wonderful.
Querini is a lovely apartment near the Rialto Bridge. It is well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. The bedrooms are large with very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are modern with toiletries and soft towels are provided. There are many shops, restaurants and coffee shops nearby yet it is a very quiet place to stay.
Great location, and very quiet 2 bedroom, 2 full bath apartment. Pictures are very representative of the apartment. Only 2 flights of stairs to get to this unit, in a great part of Venice, between Rialto and St. Marks. Many restaurants, shops and activity in this area, but yet it is very quiet. You have a view of the canals from the living room and kitchen only. The terrace is nice, but doesn't provide you a view of the water if that is what you are hoping for. You are on top of the building and see other units only. It was very hot when we were in Venice, so we didn't use it.But I would imagine it would be nice in the cooler months. The bedrooms were spacious and the air conditioning worked very well. The kitchen is large, and has plenty of cups and pots and pans, but we didn't cook at all. There is a dishwasher, a small refrigerator and little freezer as well. The washing machine worked great and is in one of the bathrooms. Trash is an issue in Venice, and you are responsible for it with this unit. There are not many city trash cans in general in Venice, FYI. There were options to leave it out front of our unit early each day or take it to a trash boat at 10:30 everyday. While I understand this is not a hotel, I was surprised that Truly Venice was not more accommodating for tourists. They told us it was a lot of work for the house cleaners to deal with, so to avoid extra charges, we needed to be sure to deal with it. So make sure you understand this aspect. The unit is very clean and was very nice. Our family of 4 was very happy with it. We very much enjoyed staying here and closing out our 3 week trip in Italy.

We have been to Venice many years before in many different hotels (4-5*), but this time we chose a flat and have not regretted it! Not only the sensational location (3 minutes walk from the flat to the Rialto Bridge) but also the very good layout of the living space convinced us. The furnishings were in a modern style with Venetian influence!We liked that very much! The roof terrace was also a great place for a relaxing sundowner in the evening. :-) The service provided by Daniela from Truly Venice was very competent and friendly! All wishes and concerns were taken into account and the handover of the keys on site went smoothly. We felt very comfortable in the flat and I can highly recommend this apartment and the service of Truly Venice and will gladly use the agency again for our next visit to Venice! Thank you very much! We stayed here in August 2018 and were a family of 5. The apartment were very big yet cosy and was equipped with everything we needed for our 3 day stay. There are 2 full bathrooms that really was the selling point for us considering we were a family. The kitchen was well equipped with all utensils you will need and more. There were even basic staples like coffee, sugar, oil, salt,pepper and some spices for Free which really came in super handy. The beds were very comfy and apartment were soundproof. We were 3 minutes away from the Rialto Bridge where it was easy to commute via the vapparetto. We even had a representative from Truly Venice meeting us at the Railto bridge the first day and walked us to the apartment. He explained everything about the apartment and things to do in Venice and suggested restaurants and grocery stores etc. I would definitely recommend this apartment to families and couples. The Truly Venice representative met us at the vaporetto stop and bought us to the apartment and showed us around. He even gave us some very good restaurant recommendation. The Querini apartment was clean, spacious, and in great location. It was exactly described as the listing for the booking. We felt like home and will definitely come back and rebook again.

We had the most magical holiday in years. The apartment was ideal, close to a Vaporetto stop and easy for walking around St Marks and all the areas. It was beautifully furnished, our friends were very impressed. Gabriele, our agent, couldn't have been more helpful. I was celebrating a special birthday and wanted a true Venetian meal with my husband and 12 friends. He showed us various restaurants around the city on the map, helped us with the reservations and we had a memorable meal in the Rialto area. We had no idea what we were going to have and it couldn't have been better. We can't thank him enough. Your website is very easy to use and the pictures are great. We really enjoyed our stay at the Querini apartment. For our first time in Venice, the location, size, and amenities were just perfect. We found we were less than a 10 minute walk from so many of the sights, and so centrally located to all areas of Venice. We walked for hours everyday and it was always so easy, from this location, to come and go from anywhere. The decor, the historic beams and the quiet neighbourhood, really allowed us to experience the uniqueness of Venice that much more.
