In the surroundings you can find the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Punta della Dogana e la François Pinault Foundation, the Accademia Galleries and other world-famous landmarks. Many Venice connoisseurs and influent artists bought their house here as it is a picturesque, quiet and central area of Venice.
The Zattere apartment blends contemporary comfort with some antique furniture pieces and the typical Venetian atmosphere being located at the ground floor of an historical Palazzo bordering a quiet canal. The canal view can be enjoyed from every window, in particular from the water door of one bedroom where the guests can relax listening to the pleasant sound of the water splashing and watching its emerald reflections on the walls.
The living room is equipped with a beautiful antique day-bed, a contemporary style table for four people and other interesting antique pieces that create an easy-living yet elegant sort of ambience. The brand-new kitchen is equipped with 4 burners electric stoves, washing machine, microwave, a small oven, kettle, coffee maker and everything else you need to cook.
There is a large bedroom with king size bed that can be used as a twin or a double with en-suite bathroom and a second smaller bedroom with a double sofa-bed, plus a second bathroom, both with showers. The house is perfect for up to 4 people.
We suggest this apartment for families or couples, including older travellers who seek an easily accessible apartment with no steps. It offers great value form money and a hard-to-beat location.

The welcome was perfect and friendly. The apartment is as described, well-equipped and ideally located on the zaterre close to a supermarket and vaporetto. We recommend!!

We loved the apartment. Very clean and excellent amenities. Easy to get around, either by walking or using the water buses. Lovely eateries close by. Very tranquil away from the bustling centre of Venice.

This apartment is located in our favourite part of Venice. Shops and restaurants close by, minimal crowds, easy access to the areas we enjoy. Apartment was clean and cosy, just right for two (although it can sleep 4 people). Truly Venice are an excellent company, everything is arranged smoothly and they are always on hand and accommodating if you need to make changes. Would definitely book through them again. Thank you for another wonderful stay in Venice - our first trip away for some time!

Gerne Wieder!

A well furnished, well equipped, well decorated apartment (with some interesting pictures) in an area of Venice where I have stayed in several times before. We brought two young children (6 and 2) - somewhat unusual in Venice - and chose the Zattere because there is rather more space for them to run around, the access is easy, it's by no means overrun with tourists and for the fairly conveniently located restaurants and ice-cream shops. The Conad supermarket on the Zattere is at a (beautiful) 10-minute walk away from the apartment. Very convenient for the Accademia, the Guggenheim, S. Maria Salute and the Dogana, with its new art gallery. And there are two proper wine bars, including the Gia Schiavi with its excellent cicchetti, on Rio San Trovaso, a short walk away.

The Zattere apartment is situated on a small canal a few steps from the Zattere waterfront. The location is very quiet yet within easy reach of bars and restaurants. The apartment is roomy, comfortable and well-appointed, and we enjoyed our stay there.

This is the second apartment we have rented via Truly Venice in the last 3 years. They are a very professional and friendly agency with an excellent choice of apartments. Zattere is a lovely apartment ideal for a couple (but can accommodate up to 4). There is an en-suite main bedroom, a second bedroom and a good sized open plan living area, with plenty of storage space. It is located at the eastern end of the Zattere waterfront in a very quiet residential area, but at the same time within a few minutes walk of some of the major city sites such as the Salute church, and the Accademia gallery. For us the location was ideal as this is the part of the city we have got to know well over many years of visiting Venice. We would certainly stay here again and will definitely be using Truly Venice on our next visit.

This is a very nice appartment in Dosodoro Sestre which we like very much. We were very comfortable here and can recommend it. It is towards the east end of the Zattere which means you do need to walk quite a lot so if mobilty is a problem then it is probably not for you. We will certainly book here again. We were glad of the help to move to Dolphin. Truly Venice now manages over 100 apartments. The very high level of service we have experience in the past with the very helpful briefing has been pared a bit. We certainly would not use any other agency in Venice.

If you are looking for a self catering apartment in Venice has it all. Stylish design, located on the same small canal that passes behind the Guggenheim, five minutes' walk to the Accademia or Zattere vaporetto stops, yet in a quiet area. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a comfortable sitting room, and a kitchen with enough equipment to try your hand at some Venetian cooking. It is a delightful experience to come home through some quiet calles and past some private gardens for an aperol spritz after a day's sightseeing and having coped with the tourist crush around St Mark's and the Rialto. Friendly management and well cared for, Zattere was great

The Zattere appartment is located in a great location, just far enough from the tourist crowds. The set up is pleasant and comfortable and most of the eating suggestions in the appartment brochure were high quality, avoiding the tourist menus

There were four in our party including a 12 and 9 yo. We chose an apartment because we wanted to be able to cater for the kids sometimes - however cooking in a different country (ie food types) with limited utensils is a challenge so we gave that up! The apartment does have a canal running along side it - but it is a small canal with very little action and a brick wall opposite - now much of a view. If I had my time again I would go for a small terrace or garden as in the evenings there was nowhere to sit and relax with a glass of wine. Having said all of that, the apartment was perfect. Two bedrooms of decent size, plenty of hanging space, clean, fresh and two bathrooms. It was quiet so great for sleeping with windows open. It was a great location (or we thought so). We like to walk and wander so being away from San Marco area was not an issue for us. There are lots of restaurants and supermarket nearby.

Old building on side canal newly renovated very nicely, everything was new and functional. Windows were right on a canal. Vaparetto (water bus) was 1 block away. 5 minutes walk to Grand Canal, Academia, Guggenheim, grocery store and 10 minutes to some great, non tourist restaurants. Took water taxi from airport (perfectly pre-arranged by Daniela, the best way to arrive in Venice) and our check-in person was waiting at the dock. Extremely nice and knowledgeable of Venice and pointed us to some great restaurants that were not serving tourist food. We had his phone number if we needed any assistance, which we didn't. Stayed 6 days, ate breakfast a couple times in the kitchenette, but it was much more fun to go to one of the breakfast barges sitting on the river around the corner or the espresso bar. They were able to accommodate our late check out and we had our water taxi pick us up and whisk us to the airport parking lot. Cost was half what you would pay in a hotel that week. Highly recommend, would do it again in a minute.

The Zattere apartment is situated in what is, for me, the nicest and most convenient area of Venice. It is less than five minutes walk from the Zattere vaporetto stop (where the alilaguna airport ferry also stops) and the cafes and bars of that delightful promenade with its spectacular views of the Guidecca. Some of the sunsets had to be seen to be believed! Heading north, the Guggenheim is not much further, the accademia and its bridge about ten minutes' walk. The excellent Billa supermarket is about fifteen minutes' walk. This part of the Dorsoduro is wonderfully quiet and peaceful and mercifully throng-free. The apartment itself is on the ground floor, with charming views over a small canal that runs alongside. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so is suitable for three or four people, and a decent-sized and reasonably well-equipped kitchen/sitting room. Three of us spent a very comfortable week there, cozy and warm despite the bitter sub-zero temperatures outside. There is also a very fast wi-fi internet connection. I had no complaints about the service we received - far from it. Indeed, our agent (Letizia) resolved what could have been a very major problem for us, on Christmas Day, without any hesitation, or complaint, even though it must have seriously spoiled her day. Service way above the call of duty! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this delightful apartment, and Truly Venice.

This nice and welcoming apartment was easy to access, central yet away from the tourist storm. Fabulous outing choices around the corner, beautiful views over towards Giudecca and 15 minutes walk to San Marco... you just need to go out and enjoy Venice!!

I traveled with my Dad and brother (I am 28 and my brother is 25). Being 3 adults and from Texas space was key for us and this apartment was fantastic! Since this was our last stop of our Italy vacation I thought we may be close to killing each other but it was just the opposite. We wished we had longer in Venice. We loved being on the water and the apartment made that experience even better. The location isn't necessarily in the middle of everything but worked out great for us! The management was very nice and helpful, I can't say one bad thing about our stay at Zattere.
