The Palazzo's magnificent private Italian-style garden, which can be visited upon request, can be used to relax in the sun, read or have a cup of tea, but cannot be used as a playground for children as the elderly landlord who lives in the same building requires peace and quiet. Please note that both water gate and garden gates are closed overnight from 7:00 pm to 8:00 am and on weekends as only the janitor has the key. Please inquire for more information.
This area of the Dorsoduro district is strategic: the Cà Rezzonico vaporetto stop is only a 2-minute walk away, while the immediate vicinity of Campo San Barnaba and Campo Santa Margherita are lively squares where some of the finest local restaurants, cafes, open-air markets, and supermarkets are located, all within easy reach. The Cà Rezzonico Museum and the Accademia Galleries are literally around the corner.
We suggest this authentic Venetian apartment to couples or singles who are looking for a unique experience, traveling back in time to the 18th century without sacrificing 21st century comfort.
This apartment is located in the same building as the Rezzonico Garden and together they can be rented under the listing page of the Rezzonico Palace.

The Rezzonico Suite accommodation was fantastic. From the cleanliness and the stunning view of the Grand Canal to the comfortable furniture and well-equipped kitchen, every aspect exceeded our expectations. The care-taker, Fernando, was extremely pleasant and attentive throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a wonderfully peaceful and comfortable place in Venice.

We spent a week in the Suite and really enjoyed being there. We liked the welcome service—the water taxi and greeter were on time and ready for us. The apartment was really clean. And of course the location in an old palazzo with a large garden on the grand canal was awesome. We really enjoyed talking to the caretaker Fernando and also met the owner. The location in Dorsoduro was also perfect.

It was a wonderful few days in a superb apartment, magically located immediately next to one of our favourite galleries, Ca Rezonnico. A superb location, within view of the Accademia Bridge, and a beautiful residence, with stunning entrance, fine views and lovely well-equipped kitchen and elegant bathroom. We have visited Venice many times, staying in a number of apartments - this is very special, and we cannot wait to return!

I’ve rented many apartments through the years with this company. I’d guess 10 in 5 years at least and the Rezzonico suite was perfection. Between the Grand Canal and the gardens what more could you ask for? The caretaker was lovely and helpful. I even chose to sleep on the sleeper sofa to be closer to the sounds of the canal believe it or not! I even cooked in the kitchen they had everything you Needed. I was there 8 days. The only downside was the bedroom split unit air conditioner was too noisy for me which is weird since I chose to sleep by the sounds of the boats on the grand canal instead. The location to Me is perfect the Dursodoro is the PERFECT neighborhood and I always rent the Truly Venice apartments there. Some Of the most beautiful apartments In the world.

Just a brief note to say what a marvelous, magical time it has been here at the apartment and in Venice. I have already recommended you to others and hope they enjoy a similarly great experience! Best,

Dear Daniela, I would just like to thank you for the most wonderful visit to Venice which we enjoyed at the end of September, staying in Rezzonico Studio Apartment. Despite all the delays (since March 2020!) and Covid hassles, we had a fantastic time with perfect weather. My Mum, now aged nearly 82, had never been to Venice before - she simply loved it, and I'm just so grateful to have had the privelege of being able to take her there, as you just never know what life is going to bring you next. Thank you too for the delicious bottle of Prosecco awaiting us in the fridge, which we saved for the last two evenings - finishing after going to see 'La Traviata' at the Palazzo Barbarigo Minotto, a couple of stops down the Grand Canal. The apartment was in the most fabulous location (we just couldn't believe stepping out onto the landing stage on the first morning, after a very late arrival the previous evening), it was simple but beautifully appointed and we also loved being able to enjoy its peaceful garden. Thank you so much for allowing us to keep our booking of this apartment for so long, and for being so helpful with all the many rearrangements along the way. I can't praise Truly Venice more highly. I hope to be able to come back one day, maybe with my Mum again, and I would certainly recommend you to any friends/family who are thinking about visiting Venice. With kind regards and very best wishes,

We were met by the rep at the apartment following a private launch transfer from the airport. She showed us around the apartment and advised about all facilities and local restaurants. The apartment looks right onto the Grand Canal so you can watch all the comings and goings. The apartment is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. However the shower is a little cramped. Being at the end of a street which ends in the canal with no landing stage it’s very quiet. It’s location is excellent as you can walk everywhere being minutes from Campo Margarita with its bars and restaurants. There is also a fruit & veg barge close by, an excellent friendly Bacari and even a small Jazz Club, all within minutes of the apartment. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful too and the garden lovely. I would recommend this apartment if you wish to live like a Venetian for a while!

We were to stay in Venice for 5 days/nights and decided an apartment would suit us, rather than a hotel - this proved to be the case. Truly Venice does an outstanding job of making apartments guest-ready and well-equipped with kitchen tools and linens, does an excellent check-in, provides local guidance and has a caretaker available if needed. Having a washing machine was helpful, as we were on a multi-week trip. Also, at the Rezzonico, there is a resident pussy cat, who made us feel at home :-) This particular apartment was perfect for us - a "late middle-age" couple. It is in the interesting Dorsoduro neighborhood, right on the Grand Canal, which "she" thought was thrilling; "he" - not so much. The bedroom is away from the canal and very quiet; if one were to have one of the guests stay in the front sitting room, be aware that guest should be a very sound sleeper. We loved the apartment, loved the San Barnaba neighborhood; it was very easy to get anywhere on foot and via the vaporetto - be sure to get a multi-day pass! On a couple of evenings, we chose to not eat at a restaurant, but instead get food from one of the local grocery stores. The quality was excellent, wine was delicious and cheap, and we loved being able to spread out in an apartment rather than being cooped-up in a hotel room. We highly recommend this option!

The apartment is centrally located and has a beautiful view of the Grand Canal. It is quiet and well furnished. The service of the agency and the caretaker is very good. All major shops are within walking distance. It was a wonderful vacation.

Wonderful location: close to good restaurants and food shopping, and just steps from a vaporetto stop. Great storage which is useful is, as we did, staying for some time. Well-equipped kitchen. And an amazing, and large, private garden. One does need to know, though, that the palazzo is rented for private functions which can cause a disturbance. However, you are in a real palazzo with views directly onto the canal - we spent many hours just watching the traffic go up and down the canal.

Working with Truly Venice was truly easy and the apartment didn't disappoint. It was fairly represented on the website with very accurate photography. It was very clean and the view of the canal was very romantic. The service was efficient and friendly. The only drawbacks with this apartment were the swollen wooden front door that was difficult to open. We would definitely return to this lovely spot. We loved our stay.

Beautiful apartment, in amazing building. Views of grand canal life from lounge room windows.

Just magic. Super caretaker for the Palazzo. Excellent views and in a jolly good part of the city. Very good eating places where the locals eat. Brilliant ice cream shop.

My husband and I were so impressed with the Rezzonico Suite when we stayed there in September 2012. It was close to some really lovely and affordable restaurants and shops and a 2minute walk to a local food market if you want to cook your own food in the well equipped kitchen. There is a beautiful walled garden with a friendly black cat adjoining the apartments, we sat there and had lunch there one day. The rooms of the apartment are decorated with lovely antiques and the view of the Grand Canal from the lounge is just spectacular. It was lovely to wake up with a coffee and sit watching the boats going up and down the canal. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Venice. Checking in and out was also very easy. Overall very impressed with The Rezzonico Suite and the Truly Venice Staff. Thank you for an excellent experience in beautiful Venice.

We finished our last Europe holiday with a week in Venice and booked, what turned out to be, this lovely and centrally located apartment direct on the Grand Canal. It had all the mod cons one would need to make a stay comfortable and easy. Having access to the wonderful gardens was also a plus. Having them housekeeper living on the premises was also advantageous. Watching the passing parade of ferries, gondolas, water taxis and barges from the front lounge room was quite interesting. Dorsoduro is a nice, quite 'suburban' locality with terrific, little and inexpensive restaurants, all within easy reach of the unit. We would certainly consider staying here again.
