Located at the ground floor therefore easily accessible, the apartment is bright and comfortable and features an easy living sort of atmosphere. There are two bedrooms, both of which can either be prepared with a king size bed (180 cm x 200 cm) or with two single beds (90 cm x 200 cm). Both rooms have plenty of storage space in their large wardrobes.
As shown on the pictures the Miranda apartment highlight is the little wooden terrace on the Canal, accessible from the main bedroom. There are two chairs and a little table that can be used on the terrace, perfect for tea and cake or a Venetian style aperitive "on the water".
Because of the many south-facing windows at the Canal side, the Miranda apartment is full of natural light all year long. The main living area is of good size and there is a functional and well-equipped open space kitchen with a large fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven and all you need for cooking a fabulous meal. The living room is cosy: there is a nice wooden table for six people, while the amenities of this home include Air Conditioning / Heating system, Wi-Fi, TV, sound system, Nespresso coffee machine and all basic kitchen appliances.
There are two spacious and well-designed bathrooms, one has a large shower, the other has a bathtub with a shower screen that makes showering possible. The washing machine and dryer are in the storage room behind the kitchen.
The area is authentic but central, it is 5 minutes’ walk away from the San Tomà Vaporetto stop and close to many excellent places to eat and shop for delicious groceries. There are numerous interesting sights to visit in the area such as the Frari church, Scuola Grande San Rocco, beautiful Campo San Polo, it is a short walk to the Galleria dell' Accademia or the relaxing Zattere water front. The district heart is Campo Santa Margherita, only 2 minutes’ walk from the Miranda apartment: in the daytime you can find a nice open-air (fish)market, children playing, locals walking and meeting each other, shops and cafes; in the evening several trendy and classic bars and restaurants opens till midnight and after. The Rialto market is only 15 minutes’ walk away and San Marco can be reached in 10 minutes by boat taking Vaporetto line number 2 from the San Tomà stop.

Our three generation family ( aged 5-69) had a wonderful stay in Miranda. This is our second stay in the apartment and our fourth with Truly Venice. I love the way we were met personally at the apartment. Pham Nhung (Apple) was excellent. We had everything and more that we needed. Being next to the canal is perfect. The area is quiet even in August and yet all sites are reachable. The Art Biennale was stunning. Our evenings finding quirky restaurants were so special. The air conditioning and two bathrooms were excellent. A perfect stay ending with a water taxi to the airport.

This was not our first rental from the excellent and scrupulously efficient - Truly Venice. My wife and I are Venice regulars (this was our 24th visit). When there are just the two of us, we prefer a hotel but with friends or family, an apartment is the best bet and Miranda was simply the best apartment we have ever rented. First, it is located in the best area in Venice (in our opinion). Within minutes you can eat in some of the best restaurants Venice can offer, and sip a glass of wine and nibble cicchetti in some of the most interesting wine bars. The popular and “buzzing” Campo Santa Margherita (late night drink destination of Venice) is a two minute stroll away. No matter what your budget is. Getting to the apartment is very easy. From Piazzale Roma (the transport hub) you only need to navigate two bridges. If you have the wherewithal to afford a water taxi, the service provided by Truly Venice is excellent. The apartment is all on the ground floor so no exhausting stairs. An apartment we used in the past, was accessible only after a 70 stair climb – not very good after a long day (or with heavy suitcases). The apartment itself is large, filled with light and provides you with every conceivable amenity. We did not use the impressive and modern kitchen (we do not cook on holiday) but the Nespresso coffee machine took a hammering. Its canal side location (and brief rainy spell) meant the flying insects were out and we purchased repellent and spray. Only to discover some spays in the utility room (kindly left by previous occupants). Our former favourite apartment (a minutes’ walk away) was abandoned due to an uncomfortable bed. The beds in Miranda delivered seven nights of blissful, uninterrupted sleep. During the holiday “debrief”, we all agreed that Miranda would now become our “go-to” apartment in Venice. Yes – it really is that good.

We have just returned from a fabulous 5 night break in Venice. Apartment Miranda was everything that we hoped and more. Superbly located a short walk from the main tourist attractions but also offering a great range of shops, restaurants and bars in the immediate area. The apartment was bright, warm, clean and really well equipped and made a great base for our stay. The view from the windows and the deck on to the canal was a constant delight and was a great way to start and end our days exploring Venice. The service from Truly Venice was excellent. We included the water taxi transfer (not cheap but great fun and highly recommended) from the airport and we were met by the delightful Tracy when we reached the nearest dock in Venice who took us to the apartment and showed us all that we needed to know. Contact with the office was always quickly responded to and Veronica was very helpful when we needed to store our luggage on our final day. Venice has loads more to offer than we managed in our 5 days and I would definitely return with Truly Venice and Miranda when we get the chance

Words cannot really describe Venice! It’s more of a feeling as it’s so completely magical. The apartment couldn’t have been better located, very central to everything but on a quite little canal with a little bridge leading to all sorts of restaurants and bars, it’s worth doing your research to find the best restaurants as menus are all similar but some do it better . It’s also worth getting a pass for the water bus to get around . January was perfect time to avoid big crowds , it’s such a shame that the place gets flooded with too many tourists, the cruise ships should not be allowed! Truly Venice were amazing hosts and it was great to know we could just text them if needed, highly recommended this particular apartment, we will definitely be back.

The Miranda Apartment is an amazing apartment in an incredible setting. There is not one criticism I could level against it nor one improvement I could suggest.Perfection.

It is such a nice appartement! Everything furnished and equipped with love. The kitchen was perfectly equipped, you could prepare meals in all ways if you wanted to do so. Enough glasses, enough plates, everything absolutely fine. Real good beds and matresses, you could sleep absolutely well. The house is placed a little offside the trouble, nevertheless the side to the canal is lively during the day (because of the bridge nearby and a small bar at the opposite) an quiet at night - perfect. So nice to sit on the little pier and watch people crossing the bridge - and have a last glass of whatever at night with the canal view. I would recommend Miranda to everyone I know.

We have been to Venice many times but this time we chose an apartment which was in an area we had not stayed before. We selected the apartment through Truly Venice, again our first time with this company. Our experience was completely seamless, from landing, picking up the arranged Water Taxi, being met by Tracy at the drop off point, taking us a short walk to our apartment and then being shown round what was truly a hidden gem. It was well furnished, beautifully equipped, all the essentials and having a small balcony on the canal which is unusual to find in Venice. The apartment is in a great location as quality restaurants are a 10 to 15 walk away. Well done Truly Venice and Tracy, we will hopefully be returning next year.

Place is clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is very well located being close to S Toma and Piazzale Roma. Good local restaurants.

This apartment is perfect in every way, location, furniture, fixtures and fittings, appliances and size.Could not find even the tiniest fault with it.Will be booking it (hopefully) very soon for next year.

We booked this appartment for the third time and still loved it. Ideal for two couples. Near our favorite Campo S Margarita. Not flooded with tourists and in easy reach of everything by foot and boat. The balcony above a canal is for the evening drink an extra gift .

Super Service. Wir kommen wieder!

We were there only for two nights but it was the best experience we had in Italy. From planning with Truly Venice and the Miranda where we stayed it was great. Truly Venice was always quick to respond when ever we had a question. Booking from across the world was scary; however, the eased our minds by how quickly they responded. The Miranda was amazing the beds were comfortable, great views of the river and a small deck to sit and have a glass of wine at the end of your day.The location was fantastic you could walk to everything, plenty of restaurants and you can walk to the attractions. Best two nights out of a 2 week trip.Thank you Truly Venice and the owners of the Miranda...

The location is very convenient, an easy walk from the bus station guided by our informative agent. The apartment is right on a very attractive canal, opposite a wine bar and 2 minutes walk from the Scuola Grande di San Rocco and (in the opposite direction) Campo Santa Margherita. We absolutely loved the flat. Modern, clean and comfortable, with a tiny terrace over the water - we didn’t see another like it anywhere we went. Tourists on the adjoining bridge certainly thought it was picturesque - we featured in a few holiday snaps! Plenty of space for four, although the terrace is off one of the bedrooms. We walked all over Venice from the flat and also took vaporetti in several different directions, all very easy. The hustle and bustle of the canal could be an issue for some people as it isn’t quiet for long each day, but we found it interesting and exciting to be part of this amazing city. In May, the terrace smelt of jasmine from the garden above - just lovely.

We had the most amazing time in Venice staying at Miranda Apartment. From the moment Thomas met us at the water taxi from the airport to the moment we were picked up at our private dock. Everything was perfect. Truly Venice offer s superb service and can not be bettered. The apartment is light, airy and comfortable. Nice furniture, good kitchen and clean bright bathrooms. Everything is of good quality with fluffy towels, quality bedding and beds. The owner has even installed a tumble drier as well as the washing machine. We were very impressed. If you have limited mobility Miranda is perfect, no stairs to climb and very close to all the shops, supermarket, refuse boat and the ferry. We bought a 7 day pass so we could hop on and off as we wished. We could use it to visit Murano and Burano both of which are a lovely trip out across the lagoon. We used the shopping trolly a lot and took it with us to the Rialto market which is open Tuesday to Saturday. We bought the most fantastic fresh fish, veggies and fruit and cooked at the apartment every day. Sitting on the little terrace on the canal and chatting to people as they went by on their boats made us feel as if we really lived there. I would suggest a visitors book so others can leave their tips and experiences for visitors to read. Some soft cushions for the sofa and a garlic press. This would just add to the perfection. We are already planning our next holiday in Venice and will definitely be using TV again to book. We will probably try a different apartment as there are so many beautiful ones on offer. If we could afford to buy Miranda for ourselves and live there permanently we would.

What can I say : heaven on eart! I have stayed all over the place in Venice and this was a fantastic spot. Love. I have tried to find dates to book it again but it is constantly booked and I know why. If I could buy it I would in a heartbeat!!!!

Our second visit to this flat. We had a cold ten days and three of them were very wet. The flat was warm, welcoming and comfortable. It's position near Piazza Santa Margarita with its vegetable and fish stalls, cafes, bars, gelaterie and wine shop plus the best cake shop in Venice just over the bridge is excellent for us. There is a bakers next to the entrance to the Calle for fresh rolls for breakfast. The small supermarket in PM isn't great, but the apartment is also not far from Conad (by San Basilio vaporetto stop). We have stayed in Venice 20 times now and in about 15 apartments and really like everything about this : it suits us down to the ground. We will come back hopefully next year!

The location of Miranda is really good, very close to San Maria Gloriosa dei Frari and Scuola Grande Di San Rocco, and at a short walk to the Vaporetto stop San Toma. The Miranda apartment is surrounded by restaurants and bars, and everything you need is close at hand. The apartment is spacious and really well kitted out, with everything you should need to have a really comfy stay. Fairly close to Piazzale Roma, handy for short walk to the apartment if one takes the bus from the airport into Venice, although would recommend arriving in style by Water Taxi, right to the waterside door. Would really recommend this apartment and the communication from the team at Truly Venice is very good.
January 2018, Saskia (UK)
We stayed at Miranda for 8 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Lovely IKEA minimalist decor which suited us. The beds were great and the company helped us when we realised there were all feather pillows and my son is allergic to them - someone bought new pillows that night and got them to us. (NB we now remember when booking!) The canal was lovely to sit by on the small balcony and watch the work boats in the morning. There was a bar opposite but it always closed at a reasonable time. The bridge nearby was noisy one evening but not too late. This was a superb apartment and we will return on our next visit. It's in a lovely area - lots of interesting restaurants, quirky shops and squares to visit - yet walkable from the station. One final delight was getting into a water taxi from the balcony/dock and straight to the airport - great fun and worth the money spent!

Just a quick line to say how very much we enjoyed our recent one week stay at Miranda. It’s a lovely apartment in a great location and we really appreciated the high quality of the accommodation. We were also very pleased with the service we received from Truly Venice, which really helped our trip to run smoothly. It really was a very memorable stay and we hope to return before too long. Thank you for everything!
January 2018, Elizabeth (East Sussex)
The photos of the apartment on the website looked too good to be true, but the reality was even better! The views from all of the rooms were absolutely stunning and it was lovely sitting out on the terrace watching the boats go by and enjoying the views. The apartment was perfectly situated -you could get to all the major attractions really quickly but it was really lovely and quiet in the surrounding area. We will definitely be booking it again, hopefully for a longer stay ... can't wait to go back !
August 2016, Abi (United Kingdom)
We had an extended stay at Miranda for three weeks in May 2017. It has a perfect location – on a side canal, away from the tourist mecca of San Marco, close enough to get almost anywhere in half an hour, quiet and yet surrounded by restaurants and nightlife. There are many restaurant recommendations from Truly Venice and the owners. Our favourites were La Zucca and the Enoteca Ai Artisti (not to be confused with the Artisti bar nearby). The apartment is modern and comfortable with every convenience. We had no noise from the apartment above, which only half-overlaps with Miranda below. The small bar on the opposite side of the canal was lively until about 11pm when it closed and the Scuola San Rocco (don’t miss) across the canal loaded concert equipment into boats in the middle of the night a couple of times. However the opportunity to watch the daily life of the city on our little canal from our own balcony and windows was wonderful. No toiletries or consumables are provided by Truly Venice which is a little disappointing but a couple of small supermarkets are nearby. In all other respects Truly Venice were quietly efficient and we had no complaints.
May 2017, Stephen (UK)
This is the 11th property we have rented in Venice and ranks as one of the best. Bright, comfortable, this canal-side apartment in the heart of Venice is well-equipped and comfortable. Located at the ground floor, it is an apartment with modern furniture in good location near the Frari as well as close to restaurants, bakers and other amenities. Vaporetto stop and station within easy reach . Sitting out on small landing stage by canal an added bonus.
March 2017, Graham (UK)
We stayed at the Miranda apartment for three nights and it was perfect for our family of 5. The location was great - not too touristy with nice morning walks to the sites. The location on the canal was amazing. We had coffee and pastry out on the canal every morning. They were even filming something on the nearby campo one morning so we were able to watch the comings and goings of crew and equipment for a bit! The apartment had everything we needed and the market was a short 2 bridge walk away - a cart was even provided! An early morning walk to the Rialto market for fresh seafood provided us with a wonderful meal one evening. Thomas was very helpful at check-in providing us with recommendations for restaurants, shopping, site-seeing, etc. The Miranda was a wonderful apartment and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Venice!!
July 2016, Julia (United States)
The apartment was as described with beautiful windows that opened onto a canal. The apartment had everything we needed from restaurant directions, cooking utensils, coffee makers, hair dryer, and dish washer/washing machine. We were met by Enrico near the apartment after we had Truly Venice set up a water taxi from the airport. The apartment can easily accommodate two couples with the bedrooms. There is not much noise from the canal overnight but sometimes there is boat traffic in the morning. The neighborhood is very cute, away from the traffic but near the college so there is more activity in the evenings with restaurants and cafes. Overall, were very happy with the apartment and Daniela and Enrico at Truly Venice were fantastic promptly helping us out and answering all of questions. We would definitely stay in this apartment again and use Truly Venice.
September 2014, Mr. Balta (United States)
We had a wonderful time in the apartment Miranda. It is a large fully equipped apartment on the ground floor, nice decorated and with modern furniture. We divided one bedroom with the foldable screen, so we had 3 bedrooms plus the big living room with kitchen. The location is perfect, it is a quiet place at a canal, nearby the Campo Margherita.
February 2015, Maria (Holland)
Our stay at the Miranda apartment was top! We were with four people who had space enough to live and stay. The kitchen is very complete and practical. The living and the bedrooms were bright and spacious. We slept very well in the good beds. The white bathroom had a little detail which is worth to be mentioned: in the ceiling above the shower is a spotlight, which changes to different colors. Never seen that before! We hope to return soon to Venice and we will take the Miranda apartment again.
April 2015, Jaap (Holland)
Miranda is a very beautiful apartment in the heart of Venice. It is located on the ground floor with a spectacular view at a quiet canal. The door and the windows at the canal side give a truly Venice experience. Especially when you drink an espresso in the morning sun at the small water terrace. The house is very nice decorated and the kitchen is one of the best. Casa Miranda is located in the city centre of Venice, but not in the busiest part so the quietness around the house is very nice after a busy day in Venice. A perfect place to stay for a wonderful time in Venice!
April 2015, Luuk (The Netherlands)
We took a booked water taxi from the airport and arrived at the water door of the apartment. When we entered the apartment we were pleasantly surprised. It is modernly decorated with all the facilities for a happy stay. Good quality beds and perfect bathrooms. In the well-equipped kitchen we found, in the fridge, a bottle Prosecco which we drank on the small water terrace looking over the canal. Around the apartment are a lot of good restaurants and cafes. Major landmarks of Venice are easy to reach but the location of the apartment is quiet. We hope to come back.
May 2015, Johan (Germany)
We had a fantastic stay here. Right on the canal, get a water taxi almost to the door! Really well equipped, everything you need. Clean, modern and spacious enough for a family of four with teenagers. The location is great; you can easily walk to everything. Would definitely recommend.
January 2016, Ruth (United Kingdom)
We stayed here for 3 nights in Jan 2016 We loved our stay in this apartment. It is as advertised and as represented in the pictures and it was well equipped. We loved the location; a bit out of the hustle of the main tourist area but still easy walking distance everywhere. There was also helpful information about restaurants/bakeries nearby and indeed all over Venice. The arrival went smoothly. We were met at the closest Vaporetto stop and taken directly to the apartment. If you have lots of luggage, we recommend getting a water taxi....
March 2016, Bridget (Australia)
A perfect "home" in Venice: truly comfortable, away from the crowds, and excellently equipped.Pleased with Truly Venice from first encounter, we have no complaints about anything, either staff or residence. We hope that we can come back soon.
March 2016, George (United States)
We had the most amazing week in this fabulous apartment and perfect location. We have been very spoilt with all the "mod cons" (the and the air-con worked perfectly!). This is our 5th visit to Venice and we all agree that this apartment has been the best so far. We want to live here! Thank you for sharing your Venice home with us. We'll be back for sure.
