From there, ascend a grand stone staircase to the first floor (35 steps up) into the impressive high-ceilinged salon adorned with exquisite frescos by Paolo Pagani, 18th century oil paintings, magnificent antique Murano Rezzonico chandeliers and original terrazzo floors. The spacious salon has both a formal dining area at one end and an elegant, classic sitting area at the other. Both benefit from the abundance of light streaming through the vast Gothic windows, which at one end open onto a stone balcony with views of the canal. Views from the dining area are into the divine private garden below.

Stuccoed portico doorways lead to several rooms: one into the traditional and well equipped kitchen with many fantastic cookbooks; another into the library with shelves of antique books in a multitude of languages. This tranquil room boasts the most spectacular views of San Giorgio Maggiore through the French doors. A small balcony there is perfect spot for enjoying the perfect view.

The apartment has three good-sized double bedrooms each with elegant bathrooms. Two bedrooms are on the first floor with high ceilings and the third is on the second floor with exposed beams, parquet floors and nearby bathroom. On the same floor a single bedroom is available on request at 10% extra rental fee.  All bedrooms have air-conditioning, luxury bed and bath linens and terry cloth dressing gowns. The entire apartment occupies 350 square meters.

The Brunelleschi is strictly non-smoking. The price includes two hours of maid service six days a week, bath linen and bed linen changed every third day.

At the ground floor of the same Palazzo it is available the Brunelleschi Studio, the guest room of the Piano Nobile. In total they offer comfortably accommodation to up to 8 guests.
