The Vendramin is a classic Venetian style first floor apartment centrally located in the San Marco District with direct access from Campo Sant'Angelo.
Characterized by authentic historical features, it is part of a stunning 17th century Palazzo Nobiliare.
The majesty of this building is witnessed since the first step into the ground floor communal entrance hall, with its decadent atmosphere and large, monumental staircase leading to the entrance of the Vendramin apartment at the first floor.
Laid out on about 140 square meters it guaranties maximum privacy to the bedrooms, located at the opposite sides of the flat, with the large living room and functional kitchen located centrally. The spacious master bedroom features a king size bed and a stunning canal view and have access to the first bathroom with bathtub, which need to be walked through to reach the walk-in wardrobe (an odd but functional space!).
The second bedroom can be arranged both as double or twin (there are 2 single mattresses that can be pushed together) and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower cabin. In both bedroom there is enough closet space.
The spacious living room is furnished with two large couches (one is a double pull-out bed) and a table for 6 people, beside precious antique pieces and large typical windows overlooking the canal below. The beautiful wooden beamed ceiling and the antique terracotta flooring confer a sophisticated ambience to this space.
The kitchen has been recently renovated and fully equipped with every possible electrical appliance, in order to enable the guests to prepare the most sophisticated meals.
There is also a good size storage/laundry room next to the kitchen, very useful to keep an orderly house. The amenities of the Vendramin apartment includes Wi-Fi internet connection, air conditioning in every room, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, large fridge with freezer, TV in both bedrooms.
In summary, we highly recommend the Vendramin apartment for its strategic and prestigious location, for its comfort and quietness, which makes of it a perfect choice for both couples and families.

We have stayed in this apartment three years running - we love the space, the comfort and the position. Three minutes walk from the Sant’Angelo vaporetto stop, about 7 minutes walk to San Marco, the same to Rialto... and the apartment is part of a grand palazzo in the charming Campo Sant’Angelo. There are two lovely bedrooms, one with a canal view, two bathrooms (could do with a bit of renovation now) and a superb main living room with a good double sofa bed. The kitchen is a little old fashioned but well equipped. The entrance hall at ground level is spectacular and a grand but slightly dowdy staircase takes you up to the apartment - negotiable for most (though not wheelchair friendly). Inside the apartment is full of light and space, with masses of storage space for suitcases etc. The furnishings are a good mixture of antique and modern and the beds are extremely comfortable.

April 2019, Helen (United Kingdom) We had a great stay here. The apartment is truly atmospheric, with a view over the canal and it’s entry over the Camp St’Angelo. The apartment is clean and well equipped. It is also very central so getting everywhere was very easy. The check in with the Truly Venice representative was great. She met us at the ferry stop. Everything was very easy for us.
We had a great time in Venice, the apartment was spacious and clean. Located close to shops, restaurants and cafes. The travel from the airport by water taxi was arranged by Truly Venice and we were escorted to our door. I would recommend this to any one of my friends.

I wish I could remember her name because she was very generous with her time making sure we knew how to get around and giving us recommendations of restaurants and things to do during our stay. The unit was magnificent. Spacious for 5 adults, clean and ideally located in a quiet area with short walk to a grocery store and restaurants. The view from the window was spectacular. Better than the pictures online. If we return to Venice, we'd be happy to to stay here again.
Four of us stayed in the two bedroom / two bathroom apartment suited us perfectly. The apartment had everything required to self-cater, in a good position, and the supermarket was close by.
Vendramin is a nice place to stay. The equipment and furniture of the apartement is well maintained and you find everything what you need for a pleasant stay. We really enjoyed the canal view; the nice ancient building gives you the real Venice experience. The apartement is centrally located between San Marco and Academia Bridge. Supermarket, bars and a vaporetto stop is closeby. In addition, the service from Truly Venice is very pleasant. Booking was easy, nice and friendly pick up service and care taking for the whole stay. Mille grazie and we will visit again next year.
Based in Piazza Saint Anzolo, this first floor canal side apartment ticked every box I could ask for to stay in Venice. Central and easy to get to everywhere in the whole of the Lagoon. The two large double bedrooms were perfect for myself and my friends and the bathrooms and kitchen perfect too. The lounge was an excellent size and great to have it in the middle of the apartment so that privacy could be maintained in the bedrooms. Clean, modern, refreshing was the decor and the wooden ceiling was terrific too. The view to the canal was outstanding and the entrance hall gorgeous. This was a perfect find and we will come back again and again thank you.
This flat was full of character, nicely laid out and in a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The apartment was close to La Fenice Opera House which was the focus of our visit and easily accessible from the boat stop. We were met by Hannah off the boat. She led us to the apartment and provided us with all the information we could want about the accommodation and the city. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable with everything we could possibly want and was in a square with a number of restaurants which we used. The Opera House is magnificent and, like much of Venice, worth visiting over and over again.
The Truly Venice experience was superb. We stayed at Vendramin in San Marco and walking through the gracious old timber doors was the perfect start to our stay! The apartment was ideal for 2 couples with a bedroom and bathroom at each end of the apartment with the Kitchen and living in between. The pictures are exactly what you see and you really feel the Venetian experience in this apartment. The kitchen is fit out with everything you need for an extended stay as well as a proper sized refrigerator. But, of course, you don’t need to eat in with all the fantastic restaurants and eateries just outside the door. The fabulous thing about renting an apartment with Truly Venice Apartments is that they will meet you at the nearest Vaporetto stop (in this case- Sant'Angelo) and walk you to the apartment. After a couple of days in Venice, you will realise what a wonderful bonus this is as you repeatedly see travellers wandering around the city with suitcases in town, lost and looking at their maps hopefully! So after a trouble free arrival at your apartment, helpful tips shared and a bonus map of the city, you are ready to explore. Vendramin is close to the Sant’Anglo vaporetto stop so it is easy to get around, but you can just as easily walk to nearly all the sights that Venice has to offer. I can’t recommend this apartment and the wonderful service offered by Truly Venice Apartments enough.
Our family really enjoyed the apartment. The entryway was stunning. TRULY VENICE! It looks just like the picture. The location was magnificent! We stayed with 2 adults and 2 teenagers and there was plenty of room! The views of the canals from the bedroom and family rooms added to the feeling of an authentic Venice vacation. All around thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would book it again!
We loved this apartment - spacious bedrooms, one with a lovely back canal view, two bathrooms and a really lovely living room with comfy sofas. Beautifully quiet despite its central location - 5 minutes to Rialto, 10-15 to San Marco. The Sant'Angelo vaporetto stop is close by, too. We'll be back!
This was a perfect apartment for us - very spacious (especially for Venice), comfortable and in an excellent location - there was a beautiful canal view from the main bedroom. The location was within easy walking distance of many of the main places to visit and in an impressive building just off the Campo - we felt very privileged to be staying here. The property description was very accurate and although the bathrooms and kitchen were a little dated, overall the property had a lovely atmosphere and although so central, was also quiet. My only slight criticism was that the windows didn't get a lot of daylight through them but you can't have everything and it was a price worth paying for all the other positive features. The booking process was very smooth and the team at Truly Venice were extremely helpful and accommodating when our flight was delayed and went beyond the call of duty to help us.
