Located on the second floor with elevator of a quiet residential building, the Valier is composed by a living room with balcony overlooking quiet gardens, a large and well-equipped kitchen with a table for 4 people, a double bedroom with king size bed and a twin/double bedroom with 2 single mattresses, both with en-suite bathroom, the first with shower and the second with whirlpool bath.
It is a good size apartment, laid out functionally on about 100 square meters. The interiors are classic and sober, recalling the Venetian tradition. This home is full of light and the view from all the windows is pleasant.
We recommend the Valier apartment to travellers coming by train or car and plenty of luggage, or to guests who are particularly mindful to comfort and price.

A flat walk from P Roma and St Lucia station. Very near to supermarkets. Close to Grand Canal for vaporettos to access all of Venice's fine sites. The apartment is well equipped for two couples with en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen is a delight to work in and with the window open you could hear trains, boats and bells. The lounge is well-stocked with books on Venice in many languages. A small lift was welcome with the cases.

Lovely apartment, lovely quiet location close to train station, easy walking to all attractions. Lovely recommended restaurants near by. We had a fabulous stay in Venice. Thank you!

This apartment is perfect for a couple. Very comfortable, excellently appointed with a very well equipped kitchen and very modern bath and superbly located. We were very comfortable here and very happy with our decision to stay here. We highly recommend this apartment. Only the washer/dryer was a problem and that may have operator error as we could not decipher the Italian instructions.

Certainly in a less 'busy' part though not far to bus and train station, also the Grand Canal and Vaperetto. Also, the photos of the apartment looked really nice and indeed we were not disappointed and found it was also very well equipped, even though we didn't need much as we were out most of the time enjoying wonderful Venice. We were met by representative Enrico as per instructions, who was professional and friendly when we met and spent some time guiding us through Venice with a map he gave us, pointing out places to visit and eat.... We were also left with a booklet of useful information with maps, places to eat and to visit, which was excellent and could be emailed to us too. Finally, the email contact and communication we had with Daniella from initial enquiry to booking and later by phone has been friendly and efficient. I am sure we won't leave it another 20 years before coming again.

Very enjoyable stay. No complaints. We were met at the station and taken to the apartment. It was clean and well equipped. Just as described on the web site. Location ideal as we could easily walk from and to the bus station. We had a wonderful 3 days - took advantage of the museum and travel pass. All pros and no cons.

Home away from home. We received excellent service. The apartment was really more than we expected and felt like a home away from home. The location was the big plus point, since we wanted to be close to the station. The apartment has a washing machine, dishwasher, stove and oven. The only thing we missed was a microwave oven. We struggled a bit with the gas stove, but got the hang of it later.

The apartment itself is extremely spacious for Venice, being located in a new (for Venice) apartment block in a quiet district. It is extremely tastefully furnished and decorated, as well as bursting with amenities. The only thing we missed was a kettle (it could have been "hiding? we didn't look too hard) but boiling water in a pan was hardly a chore. The large double bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of wardrobe and storage space. We did not use the two single beds in the second bedroom. Occasionally, things do go wrong and how a rental company deals with these problems tells you everything you need to know. On this occasion, it was the hot water supply that failed. I called Truly Venice and was assured that the problem would be resolved before the end of the day. True to their word, when my wife and I returned from a hot and sweaty day's sightseeing, the supply was back to normal. You could ask for no more than that. If I had to be critical, I would say that the location isn't the prettiest in Venice; although the grounds of the block itself are very well kept, with a lovely garden area. However, the apartment is very easy to reach from the railway station and the Piazzale Roma. From the railway station, you only have to cross one bridge. For those who are regular visitors to the city, you know that bridges can be a bind, when hauling around heavy suitcases - even if they have wheels. I can pay no greater compliment regarding apartment Valier, than to say that I could gladly live there.

The flat is on the second floor and there is a lift. Although it is possible to hear neighbours from above and on one side this was never a problem and from from late evening until the morning there was never any noise in the month that I was there. It would have been good to have had some satellite TV for the evenings but as there is a highly efficient Wi-Fi one can, these days, manage to some extent with the internet, assuming of course that one brings some sort of usable device. Another minor criticism is the lack of a couple of really comfortable chairs. The sitting room is elegantly furnished with quality formal furniture and is a joy to be in but sometimes there's a need to relax into an armchair. How to add informal chairs to the sitting room would be a challenge, however. I would gladly return to the flat. All my many guests liked it so the comments above are not just my views. Although it is not right in the centre of mediaeval/renaissance Venice and does not have some of the characteristics which flats in that part of town might manage, it does have light and openness and comfort and quiet. These positive attributes give it my imprimatur of approval.

Fully lived up to expectations and needs. Great location; well appointed, very good value and ideal in every way. I would come back again to this property.
