The San Trovaso Loft is a charming studio apartment located next to the Zattere waterfront, close to many cultural attractions and authentic Venetian bars and restaurants.
Literally at the doorsteps there are also many Osterie, Bacari, cafés and restaurants serving Venetian specialties for locals and students, beside myriads of nice art galleries and local artisan shops.
The area is rich in cultural attractions such as Basilica della Salute, Punta della Dogana, Accademia Galleries, Ca' Rezzonico Museum, Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Cà Foscari University and much more.
The strength of the San Trovaso apartment is in fact the location, beside the stylish and contemporary feel of the interiors which have been restored with high standards and furnished with care. The enormous window confers brightness to the environment, while the natural parquet flooring and old wooden beamed ceiling confer warmth. The apartment is very quiet and absolutely charming, the perfect solution of those who want to keep the budget of the vacation low without compromising on location, style and comfort!
The apartment is located at the first floor and get access from Fondamenta di San Trovaso. The building is very safe and quiet. In the spacious living room there is a small table for two (but another table like that is folded behind the sofa if you need 4 seats), a comfortable double pull-out sofa-bed, a very cool designer closet which hides TV, microwave oven, books and other useful everyday items. The kitchenette with 2 electric stoves, fridge, kettle, Nespresso coffee maker, American coffee maker and all the basic utensils is found below an easy to climb staircase that leads to the bedroom upstairs in the mezzanine level. The comfortable queen size bed fits pretty well with a desk and a wardrobe. Please note that the mezzanine ceiling is about 185 cm high. A luxury bathroom with large shower cabin is found next to the entrance.
The San Trovaso Loft is equipped with Wi-Fi, Air Conditioning, Autonomous Heating System and washing machine, beside other basic electrical appliances. We suggest the San Trovaso Loft to couples or singles (2 guests can sleep on 2 separate beds if requested, one in the sofa-bed, the other upstairs in the mezzanine). Even if rather compact, it is very comfortable and chic.

I stayed at the San Trovaso loft for a week in May 2022. Truly Venice was recommended to me by a friend and I am so grateful for her advice! I had decided to go to Venice for the Biennale three weeks earlier and was having a very hard time finding a place (hotel or rental) for my budget -- either really expensive or a really sad-looking. The staff at Truly Venice are wonderful. My inquiry email was answered right away, and I received all the necessary information prior to arriving. Upon arrival I was greeted at the Zattere vaporetto stop and taken to the apartment. The apartment is in the Dorsoduro sestiere - about a 20-30 minute walk from San Marco which was perfect for me - it's a residential area and not as busy as the center of town. The apartment is a two level loft with a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine. It's perfect for one person or a couple. It looks exactly like the photos. During the day it's a lively neighborhood and in the evening it's quiet and safe. There is a wonderful wine bar down the street for cicchetti and wine, a super market about a 7 minute walk away, and the Zattere vaporetto stop is two minutes away. I was in Venice for 6 nights/7 days and the apartment was perfect. On the day before my departure, I went to Murano/Burano/Torcello (highly recommend this outing) and on the vaporetto back to Venice at 7PM I realized I had left my bag with my wallet, passport and apartment keys back in Torcello! I texted the local office and called the head office in Switzerland, and luckily someone had found my bag and called Switzerland. The folks at Truly Venice were very helpful and reassuring - and I was so lucky that a good samaritan found my bag! I look forward to future stays with Truly Venice and highly recommend their services!
The Trovaso Loft was perfect for our week in Venice for 2. Incredibly convenient location with supermarkets and restaurants close by and a very short walk to key museums and galleries like the Accademia and Guggenheim. Although situated in the heart of Venice, the area doesn't feel overly touristy as many locals hang out there for a drink. No need to be concerned by noise either as bars tend to close around 10:30-11pm. Very easy to navigate to and from with services such as vaporetti (water buses) just around the corner. Truly Venice were very helpful in arranging our taxi and greeted us when we arrived. They also gave us tips on where to visit and get great food. If you're looking for a hassle-free time then I cannot recommend their services and this apartment enough! Looking forward to visiting Venice again soon!
Frej and I just wanted to say thank you for a lovely experience with Truly Venice. The weather was perfect and luckily not too heavy with tourists. Also the Trovaso Loft served us brilliantly for our stay.
We had a FANTASTIC stay at San Trovaso Loft a couple of weeks ago. It was perfect. The facilities were clean, modern and VERY WELL equipped for a self catering stay. The owner was charming when we met him and so generous in the way the flat was 'stocked' to make us feel welcome. Marco was charming when he met us and showed us around. I have already been telling all my friends about Truly Venice and the efficient and professional services that you provide. A huge thank you to you all. We will be coming to Venice again, and when we do it will be to a Truly Venice apartment.
