Here you can find some of the best local restaurants, such as La Vedova and Vini da Gigio which are literally next door, and every sort of shop along Strada Nuova. The supermarket is just around the corner, while the Rialto Market is across the Grand Canal. Despite the proximity to the main Tourist Itinerary, it is very silent as the entrance to this beautiful building is from the quiet Fondamenta di San Felice, plus it is a very open top-floor apartment.
The landlord actually lives here during part of the year, taking great care of its elegant and comfortable home. It has been recently restored and equipped with every possible appliance, ranging from air-conditioning in every room, efficient heating system, Wi-Fi internet connection, to a Nespresso coffee machine found in the super-professional kitchen. It is important to keep in mind that as the landlord offers you an immaculate home, he expects the guests to look after it in a similar way.
The San Felice is composed of a large and sunny living room with a big sofa and a dining table that gives access to the canal view terrace, large enough to organize a romantic candle light dinner; the kitchen is spacious and functional with a table for four people; before the master bedroom with king size bed there is a room used as office and wardrobe, besides being used as a third bedroom when there is a 5th person; the second bedroom is as spacious as the master bedroom, also with king size bed and large closet; the main bathroom has a bathtub, the second has a shower, both are of very high standard; on the back of the house there is a large terrace that can be used as a sun deck; the large central corridor that connects all these rooms works also as a welcoming entrance.
Overall, the San Felice is a fantastic accommodation for location, amenities, size and most importantly rental fee. The only downside is the delicacy of some furniture which requires a great deal of attention from the guests. In fact, no pets and no children are welcome.

Spacious two bedroom flat. Comfortable beds, comfortable seating, and plenty of it. Two terraces, one with views over the canals and rooftops, catches the sun in the morning. Another terrace that is more shadey, if that's what you want. Well equiped kitchen.

We booked a stay at the San Felice apartment for 3 full weeks in May 2024. Our goal was to spend quality time in a European city without the need to focus on rushing to hit every tourist highlight in a short stay. We wanted to get the feel of living there. Venice was an excellent choice for this kind of experience, it’s a beautiful city, quite easily walkable with lots to see and the apartment itself was absolutely fabulous. It was a superior high-quality venue and the private terrace was a feature we essentially saw nowhere else in the city. Breakfast in the morning overlooking the two canals below us was a daily treat along with cocktails on many a late afternoon. I can still hear the calls of the gondoliers as they shouted Ohhhh-Wayyy when they announced their presence coming around that blind corner. And the view… well it was just spectacular. The Apartment is very well appointed having everything we needed. The Kitchen was a well organized space and had more cooking utensils than my own home. And for a long stay the functioning washer and dryer was a very special treat. Everything was quite comfortable and well kept up; it looks as good or better than the photos. The location is perfect, close enough to easily reach all those touristy spots, but well off the beaten path allowing us to explore the quieter places that we really wanted to see. And a well stocked supermarket was just a two minute walk away. As others have pointed out it's a three story climb from the street to the front door, but we were two active couples in our 70’s and were able to manage it just fine. And it was a Truly great experience dealing with the people at Truly Venice. From our first contact with questions about the apartment details to getting us all the information we needed to plan and execute the trip, Truly Venice was there to help all the way. Two representatives met us at the closest Vaporetto stop upon our arrival and guided us to the apartment spending a good while showing us through the unit ensuring that we understood our way around all the functional elements. They were also in contact with us during our stay making sure all was well. We couldn’t recommend this apartment any higher and definitely plan to return. It was a very unique experience, everything we had hoped this trip would be. You will have no regrets staying here.

The beds were incredibly comfortable. Perfect location. Even in November the terrace was a wonderful place to sit .

Very spacious apartment in an amazing location in Venice. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and enjoyed spending time on the terrace overlooking the canal.
July 2023, Veronica (Uk)
This was a lovely, well equipped apartment on a small side canal, but close to the main pedestrian route through Venice. Yes, it was up several flights of stairs, but that is inevitable if the apartment is to get plenty of sun and natural daylight. We appreciated the spacious rooms and two bathrooms, and the kitchen had all the equipment one could wish for. We were able to sit out on the balcony on the warmer days, and there was plenty of room to relax on the generous sofas in the sitting room. Amazing terrazzo floors. The local neighbourhood was good for shops and cafes, and we could enjoy being off the beaten tourist track. We would definitely come again if possible.

This was our 2nd stay at the San Felice Terrsce apartment- & it was just as fantastic as our first stay in 2018 - the apartment has everything you need, fantastic views of canals and tge rooftops of Venice - it’s in a fantastic location for vaporetto, food, spritz, sightseeing and just soaking up all that is Venice - highly recommend - we will be back again - I am already missing breakfast on the balcony

Situated in a quiet but central area of Venice, this apartment was fantastic. It was fully equipped with all you could possibly need and more. Our favourite spot was the terrace for that morning coffee or evening drink. Once again Truly Venice you did a wonderful job. Your assistance was much appreciated, thank you.

We had a lovely stay. The outside terrace over the canal was our favorite place to hang out in the mornings and early evenings. The apartment is updated, spacious, beds are comfortable. Need to be comfortable with stairs, it's on the 3rd floor. Loved the neighborhood--away from the crowds, wonderful restaurants, 15-20 mins walk to popular sites. The company was very helpful prior to arrival--we would rent from them again.

Well where do I start. Rented this apartment to stay for a week for my daughters Wedding. It is palatial, clinically clean, has all the amenities you could ever want and more, and the location to die for. I am very well travelled for business and pleasure and have to say, this comes right at the top. If you looking for something really special and in the heart of Venice with fabulous rooftop and canal views, then this is the place for you. Very rarely to I go back to the same accommodation, but I'm already looking to book this place for sometime next year. Booked it, you really wont be disappointed.

This Venetian apartment is exceptional in every way. Classically decorated with all the amenities you require for a perfect relaxing holiday. The apartment is situated perfectly, being close enough to reach the sites but also far enough away to experience the real Venice. All the staff at Truly Venice made the arrangements run very smoothly and we very much appreciate the service and will always remember the experience.

We spent 11 days in this beautiful apartment, one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed in. It is well decorated, spacious, quiet, and is extremely centrally located. The kitchen has all the appliances you could possibly need, beds are comfortable. We were there in the middle of a heatwave and the air conditioning units in each room were a welcome relief. If you have a problem with stairs, watch out, it is on a fairly high third floor.

We were very happy with this smart, light-filled, well appointed, clean and tastefully furbished apartment in Dorsoduro, our favourite area to stay in Venice. The living room windows offer an open unrestricted view across the little S. Trovaso square, home to the well known gondola workshop just off Zattere. The position is excellent for getting around, either on foot or ferry. From the main bedroom there's a lovely window with a view to the canal below. The small altana offers charming rooftop views (also a sunny nook to dry the laundry). The company was terrific to deal with, patient and flexible as we had originally booked for 2020.

Apartment: This apartment was absolutely amazing! I could've spent two entire months here and been happy. My husband and I have had many rentals across Italy and this apartment was our favorite of them all. I felt very at home, because it was so well equipped! The views from the main terrace were simply stunning! You have views of 3 canals. We enjoyed sitting out there in the morning sipping our espresso, as well as sitting out there in the evening and drinking wine. Beautifully decorated. Very Venetian! The kitchen had much more utensils/ pans/ equipment than you could ever imagine using, they had a full laundry setup as well (although we never used it, I am sure it would be very handy for others). I did use the espresso maker daily, the iron and hair dryer - all of which came in so handy! Location: There is a great supermarket (Coop) about a 2 minute walk. You are about 10 minute walk from the Rialto, 15 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. location of this apartment was amazing! Right around the corner from Fondamenta Della Misericordia, a great little area with lots of wine bars! We walked over all of Venice during our stay and found this neighborhood and Castello the very best parts of the city. All within 10 minutes walk. Our favorite restaurant Ai Barbacani was just 12 minutes by foot so we couldn't have been happier! Hosts: Truly Venice were very helpful and communicative throughout entire process! They were helpful with out luggage and transportation from train station on arrival and then back to the airport upon departure. Highly recommend this apartment if ever in Venice! Can't say enough good things about it.

Very spacious and very well equipped - two terraces to watch the world from. Excellent area and local restaurants. On 3rd floor - so good views but stairs may be an issue for some. Two couples or a small family - huge lounge, two bathrooms. Cooking was great - Rialto ingredients, gas hob, oven & micro - could do with a decent kettle for tea drinkers but nespresso for coffee with a load of capsules provided. Thanks.

Hi We had an amazing time in your fabulous apartment I feel privileged to have stayed there and would dearly love to go back one day. The apartment was so well equipped.we wanted for nothing. I even learnt to love espresso because of your coffee machine. Thanks again for letting us experience your beautiful apartment. The perfect place to stay and explore the real Venice.
November 2019, Suzanne (UK)
We have stayed in this apartment before. It is situated on the top floor of a house on a quiet Fondamente in Cannaregio. The apartment is very tastefully decorated. It has a very elegant drawing room, two very good sized bedrooms, two terraces, a very well appointed and well equipped kitchen. It is a short walk and traghetto ride to the Rialto markets. Highly recommended.
November 2018, Ralph (UK)
The location was perfect for us. Quiet but easy access to the Grand Canal and to excellent restaurants and bars. The apartment was beautiful, well equipped, had two lovely balconies and a large very comfortable sitting room. Both double bedrooms were equivalent sizes and ideal for 2 couples. We couldn't fault it at all!
September 2018, Richard (UK)
This apartment is located just meters from a busy Main Street but you would never know it . You are living like a local here and it is very quiet for Venice. You can get to everything really quickly and there is a water bus stop near by. The apartment has a balcony overlooking 2 canals that gets sun all day and a large terrace at the side with sun in the morning .... such a bonus and rare in Venice . The apartment has everything you would need, we didn’t need to buy a thing even down to kitchen roll and toiletries . The property is in a great state of repair and is obviously a much loved home . It is spotless and well cared for , one of the best we have visited .

The San Felice Terrace apartment is beautiful, elegant, and well furnished. The view from the main terrace looks down on a beautiful canal, and we spent most mornings and evenings there. Our welcoming host was Thomas, who gave us an extensive orientation, plus a booklet with a lot of information. The location is perfect, 40 yards from the main walking route, 50 yards from a complete market, and only about 10 minutes from Rialto. All the people at Truly Venice are very helpful, and set us up with a private water taxi from and to the airport, cost $120 euro. This is a bargain as it docks 100 yards away, with no bridges involved, and is very prompt and takes less than 1/2 hour. Worth every penny and you won't be sorry. Options are long taxi rides that don't land near San Felice, or land transportation that involves long walks and many bridges. We had great meals, the best at Ai Mercante (well worth the search) and Algiubagio (1/4 mile), plus Da Alviso (next to Algiubagio). We also greatly enjoyed a Vivaldi violin concert on the main walkway to Academia. (There are 2. We did the smaller venue in the church.) Cook at least one dinner from the Rialto outdoor market, and eat on the terrace. The only downside is the 55 steps up to the apartment. (We are in our 70's and survived, but tried to do it only once or twice a day.)

Four of us stayed 9 nights in this elegant apartment. From the moment we walked in we were impressed. The decor, the spaciousness, the amenities, and especially the access to two outdoor terraces made this apartment perfect. We spent many evenings watching the gondolas go by in the canal below us. A short walk to the Rialto, San Marco and the markets was ideal. At the corner of our street was a large supermarket to pick up things for dinner or breakfast. There was not one thing we were missing and indeed San Felice Terrace exceeded all our expectations. We even got used to the three fights of stairs!

Second stay - just as good as the first! The apartment could not be in a better location - at the intersection of two canals. All the better to view from the balcony. Beautifully appointed two bedroom apartment has is completely updated all the functionality anyone could want to go with oodles of charm. We are looking forward to our third stay!

Amazing location, close to bars restaurants and shops. The San Felice Terrace apartment is well furnished to a high standard with large comfy sofas. It has a well equipped kitchen, an outside terrace, a washing machine and tumble drier and lines for hanging out washing. We were left a nice welcome pack which is always a bonus if you arrive late. The apartment is beautiful , clean, and beds very comfy. Its is only a 5 min walk to get a water bus. Would definitely stay here again . It is on the third floor and there are no lifts however the guide carried one of our cases up the stairs for us.
September 2017, Jeanette (UK)
The San Felice Terrace Apartment is everything in the description and reviews. It is lovely and comfortable and there wasn't anything we found lacking. With just two of us, we had room to spare. The apartment is fully stocked and furnished. It is a gracious home and it shows. The remodeling and updating are very nice. The large grocery store is very close by and carries everything you could need. The air conditioning was heaven in hot Venice and the fully enclosed shower much appreciated by us Americans. There is a washer and dryer, also appreciated....The wi-fi was a little hit or miss but we were on vacation and had our own hotspot anyway. The views from the terrace are wonderful just watching life on the quiet canals. It is such a nice neighborhood that I noticed gondola rides and a few walking tours going past our door. This was not an issue for us but it is 3 flights of stairs up to the apartment. We counted 60 steps up. You'll want to be aware of this if you are not in good shape or have heavy luggage as there is no elevator. The apartment management company, Truly Venice, was excellent. Hannah met our water taxi nearby and walked us to the apartment. She also helped us carry bags up those 60 steps. Hannah showed us everything, made sure we were settled and left us with a booklet from Truly Venice. It contains all kinds of helpful information and instructions not only on our neighborhood but others in Venice as well. Restaurants, shopping, sight seeing, etc. Hannah also gave us her cell number just in case we needed anything. We did not need to bother her as everything was perfect and so well explained by her upfront. I would be remiss if I did not mention a great restaurant steps away from the apartment. Al Fontego Dei Pescatori was delicious. It was one of our favorites....

San Felice Terrace is the perfect hideaway in the middle of Venice. With amazing, canal views from the terrace, authentic venetian floors, comfortable beds with duvets and the wonderful touch of a Nespresso machine (with the capsules), it is better than home. I have never stayed in a rental property that was so clean, and well stocked. Dish tablets, detergents, even a bottle of bubbly to start your holiday. The location of the apartment is great, just on a quiet, side canal, but around the corner from the Coop grocery store, and many restaurants, bars, and shops. When you arrive someone greets you at the dock, shows you to the apartment, explains all the features, and then explains on a map where the key points of interest are along with the location of many shops and some great non-touristy restaurant recommendations. Daniela, at Truly Venice is a delight to work with, and even though we had to leave early due to a death in the family, she continued to assist us even upon our return home. I would definitely recommend this fantastic apartment to anyone looking for 5 star quality and service.

We are now home from our trip to Venice. The apartment was fantastic, one of the nicest ones we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. I will recommend Truly Venice to anyone who is interested in an apartment in Venice. Thank you
June 2016, Linda (Canada)
We stayed in the San Felice Terrace apartment for 5 weeks, from November to January, and it is no exaggeration to describe it as a wonderful place. For a visit of that length, we were looking for a home and a place to work from, not just a rental apartment, and we found it. The apartment has everything you need to live, to cook, to entertain and to enjoy Venice. It is ideally located, just 10 minutes from Rialto, and the front terrace catches the morning sun rising over the rooftops of Venice each morning - an event that we never really got used to. The wonderful representative provided everything that we needed. The service from booking to departure was excellent and reliable. It is hard to conceive staying anywhere else in the Venice in the future. So, please, do not follow up on this reference too keenly, otherwise we will not be able to return.

A very special apartment. Immaculate and decorated in excellent taste. Very elegant LR with full entertainment center. Fully updated, including kitchen and baths. Excellent shower in one bath, jetted tub in the other. Fantastic view of two canals from one balcony; private rooftop view from the second balcony. Well equipped kitchen - we could not help cooking a couple of meals! Location was quiet with good restaurants only a few feet away. We cannot recommend highly enough
October 2015, Carl T (United States)
Fabulous apartment - great value and great location! Fabulous apartment - spacious and clean with beautiful art works, venetian glass and other furnishings. The kitchen is great - well stocked with everything you need, two sparkling bathrooms and two comfortable and relaxing bedrooms. The terrace opening from the living room has a lovely canal view and the rear terrace is a super sun-trap and great for drying washing! Booking process was easy and we were met as arranged by a representative who took us to the apartment and explained everything we needed to know. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a supermarket just around the corner. Really quiet at night so good sleep guaranteed. Excellent quality and value - thoroughly recommended.

Another amazing holiday in San Felice terrace Our second visit to this apartment - we were not disappointed - it is so comfortable and has so many extras. The unusual antiques and decor are fascinating. The location is perfect - just off the grand canal for closeness to the sites and the wonderful Rialto fish market and away from the mayhem and noise of august tourist season. Best meal was at Poste Vecchio in Rialto - highly recommended to everyone - an Italian resident told us about it years ago and it never disappoints. The art Biennale was amazing - just go and have an adventure - could be life changing if you have an open mind to modern art. Hated the long queues in San Marco. Loved Serge Baldino's mask shop near Rialto - such a genuine and creative man - don't buy masks from anywhere else.

"The most perfect vacation apartment" We stayed in this fantastic apartment for one week in July. It is simply the best apartment we have rented in Europe. The location is very central, not right in the middle of the noise and traffic but very close to the best sights and some of the best food in Venice. The photos and description don't do it justice (and they make it look wonderful). The kitchen was fantastic, laundry facilities were great, bathrooms were perfect and the terrace. The apartment is stocked with everything one needs to live and cook there. Not like some apartments that only have the bare essentials. Less than a block from the market, ATM, gelato, and more. We spent every morning on the terrace watching the canal traffic. I would return to Venice and this apartment in a minute. We booked a private water taxi so getting to the apartment from the airport was a snap.
October 2013, Justdede (United States)
Excellent! This apartment exceeded our expectations and is more beautiful in person. The location was perfect! We would request the same apartment if we are able to return! It was more expensive than we were looking for but we're glad we stayed there! The view is amazing! 2 balconies! Felt like a local!
February 2013, Mo (United States)
We could not have asked for a nicer place to celebrate a milestone birthday and anniversary! The apartment was exactly as the pictures and included all sorts of "extras" in the kitchen that we didn't expect but came in handy (spices, etc.) It was located down a quiet street/canal but also just a block or two away from a main street with large grocery store, many restaurants, the Grand Canal, etc. Everything was easy to walk to. The apartment itself was beautiful. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace every morning with a view of the canal. Also enjoyed many bottles of Prosecco after a long day of sight seeing and even brought home a salad and pizza to go one evening to enjoy on the terrace. It was a very relaxing place and fit our needs perfectly! We had not thought of returning to Venice in the near future but now that we've seen most (if not all) of the main sights to see we would go back again in a heartbeat if we could rent this apartment again. Please give the owners our many thanks for one of the most memorable trips ever! Hope to be back again soon! On a sidenote: we stupidly left one souvenir item behind by accident (a rolled up water color painting that we purchased on the street but is always our most favorite purchase when we travel). I notified the management company and they located it for us and sent it back with no problems at all. Could not ask for better service!
