Nabucco is a classy penthouse with two terraces and stunning views over the San Marco District rooftops.
It is found at the 4th and 5th floor with elevator of a historic building long time owned by the same family who completely renovated it and finally offered to our privileged guests in 2018 for the first time.
It is located next to the Fenice Theatre, known by the connoisseurs to be one of the finest Opera Houses in the world. This place is possibly the best in Venice Historical Centre for its quietness, beauty and central position. The Vaporetto stop and the supermarket are only 2 minutes’ walk away and there are plenty of excellent restaurants and cafés in the surroundings.
The Nabucco is full of natural light and is elegantly furnished with some antiques smartly blended with contemporary pieces. The original XIX century Venetian Terrazzo flooring and prints decorating the walls perfectly merge with the antique wooden beams and the soft colours of curtains, linen and sofas. The result is a clean and comfortable ambience which accommodates anyone’s taste.
Beside the location and the exquisite interior design, the great plus of the Nabucco apartment are definitively the stunning views on the rooftops, canals and bell towers enjoyable from literally every room, besides the two panoramic terraces. The first terrace is accessible from the living room at the 4th floor, while the second terrace is accessible from the mezzanine level through a nice spiral staircase. On both terraces you can relax in total quietness and privacy being located above the surrounding buildings.
The Nabucco apartment is laid out on about 160 square meters and is composed of a large living and dining room with two large sofas and an extensive library, plus a table that can be extended to seat up to 8 people in comfort. The brand-new kitchen has been equipped with every sort of electrical appliance. There are two king size bedrooms and a single bedroom all of which are equipped with high standard Simmons mattresses for your maximum comfort. There are two luxury full bathrooms with shower cabin at the 4th floor, plus a third older and smaller bathroom on the 5th floor. The spiral staircase leads to a very comfortable and cosy mezzanine level furnished with a double sofa bed and a normal sofa, which can be really considered as a 4th bedroom for its privacy (even if it is not completely separated from the main living room below it feels like it).
Every room is equipped with an efficient air-conditioning system and there is climate-controlled heating, Wi-Fi internet connection and there is a Smart TV in the living room.
The Nabucco apartment (named after the well-known Opera from Giuseppe Verdi, represented also at the Fenice Theatre) is the most prestigious of the 6 units available in this Palazzo and can be combined with Aida, Tosca, Salomé, Carmen or Madama Butterfly, offering a perfect accommodation solution for large groups.
We highly recommend the Nabucco apartment for up to 5 demanding guests who are looking for a truly charming and exclusive home, but the apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 7 people for short stays also.
Please keep in mind that from the elevator level to the entrance door of the Nabucco apartment there are 10 steps, as the elevator stops between the 3th and the 4th level.

We recently stayed at the Nabucco apartment in Venice for four nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our group consisted of four adults (parents and grandparents) along with a 15-month-old and a 5-year-old. The apartment was simply exquisite, with beautiful attention to detail. Vittoria, our wonderful host, met us at the water taxi and personally guided us to the apartment, where she gave us a thorough overview of the amenities. She also provided us with excellent recommendations for dining and local attractions, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location of the apartment was perfect, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for families!

The entire experience was a delight, the apartment was beautiful and the service provided by Truly Venice was excellent. We booked the in house cook for one night and enjoyed a lovely Italian four course dinner.

Truly Venice is the best vacation apartment rental agency in Venice- we stay with them year after year, but this apartment is our favorite. The staff is friendly, efficient and organized, the apartments are clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay is provided (nice quality linens, kitchens amply stocked with equipment, etc.)
One of the best apartments I have ever been in. We were a group of 7, staying for 4 nights and it was perfect. This 5th floor apartment has 3 bedrooms and an upstairs loft accessable via a spiral staircase. The upstairs loft has a comfortable queen sofa bed. All rooms have a view from the window. The main living area and upstairs loft have a outdoor terrace with amazing views of the City. Location is central and approx. 5 min walk to the San Marco Square. No problems finding good restaurants for breakfast lunch or dinner nearby. Elevator was broken when we checked in, but our host arranged for a porter to transport our luggage to the top floor. The host indicated the elevator would be fixed on the Monday when we were to check out. On Monday the repairman showed up in time to fix the elevator making it possible to check out and move our luggage down with no issues. Decor is modern mixed with antique furniture. There is a beautiful small library with books from the early 1800's. Fine touchs that just make this apartment special. Nothing to complain about, everything was perfect. This Nabucco apartment was booked through Truely Venice. This company is very accommodating and responded to my email requests in a timely manner. I highly recommend booking this accommodation through them.
Truly Venice made our trip seamless from coordination of transportation, helpful staff and quick responses to any questions. Our apartment was beautiful and perfect fit for the 5 of us. The location was great and easy access to water taxi and St.Mark’s square. Believe it or not, we never got lost! Can’t wait to go back and visit again!
My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our seventeen night stay at the Nabucco apartment, and we hope to return in the not-too-distant future. We would choose to stay in the same location with Truly Venice again. We would especially like to thank Daniela for patiently working with us until we could make the Covid vaccination roster and reschedule our original reservation. The apartment was exactly as pictured and an integral part of our wonderful Venetian experience: terrazzo floors, exposed wooden beams, breathtaking rooftop views, and all of the conveniences of home. Add to the above, the perfect location: just around the corner from a beautiful church (even more so at night) and lovely campiello, a traghetto crossing, and (we believe) the most gorgeous spot for a vaporetto stop in all of Venice. Be sure to be at the stop at least once as the sun goes down and the lights come up: magical! What a wonderful way to see Venice.
Ahead of our vacation in Venice, our family was looking to stay in an apartment which would provide us with the ultimate, authentic Italian experience. Nabucco immediately caught our attention due to its beautiful terrazze and its grandesse. Safe to say, it did not disappoint. The flat was beautifully furnished mix of Venetian aesthetics and modern elements. It was very clean and all the rooms well equipped. The kitchen was loaded with appliances and even basics like salt, pepper etc. The apartment is situated in a prime location - in the heart of Venice, with a 5-10 minute walk to both St. Marc's square and Accademia. The highlight were the two terrazze with amazing views over the roofs of Venice perfect for summer evenings! The apartment was very spacious, with two "master bedrooms" and one single bedroom. On the second floor, on the gallery ,there is couch that could easily be converted to a double bed if needed. The service was impeccable, the staff of "Truly Venice" took time to pick us up from the boat station, answered our questions and gave us insider tips for restaurants and bars in Venice. They were very well informed and truly cared about our experience there. The only complaint we would have that a machine in the service room next to one master bedroom was a bit loud. The apartment made us feel at home in Venice and we would - without a doubt - book it again and recommend it.
Wonderful stay at Nabucco apartment. My family (husband, 2 daughters aged 9 & 6 and mother) stayed at the Nabucco apartment for 4 days over New Year. It is located on the top floors of a traditional old building in a quiet corner of San Marco. The apartment itself is beautiful inside- sparkling clean, spacious, warm, and all amenities modern and in good working order. Lots of wardrobe space and a well equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. The whole apartment had a cosy feel and was beautifully decorated. Views, especially from the top terrace were stunning.We also enjoyed excellent service from all the Truly Venice representatives who arranged water taxis and even returned a forgotten kindle by post without charge. Highly recommended.
I would just like to thank the team of Truly Venice! We have used this company on many occasions and found their service absolutely first class : communication is excellent, organisation is excellent, follow up is amazing. Anyone who has had a bad experience with this company is living on another planet! We can not fault the team,service and as a matter of fact we would not use anyone else when we return : anyone going to Venice should have no hesitation in using this company!!!! All the staff who have met us in our past trips really know their stuff, and in fact always on time and very friendly! Nabucco is a spacious apartment with 2 balconies in a great location behind the Fenice Theater. The important sites in Venice are within short walks, and the public transportation is only 5 minutes away. We loved the amenities, including an elevator, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and updated bathrooms with great water pressure. This is our second time staying in this building and we can't wait to get back for another visit.
