The shared entrance at the ground floor opens on a lovely private courtyard (private property of the ground floor apartment) with a so called "vera da pozzo", the sculptured white stone private ancient well, used in the past centuries to get drinkable freshwater. The entire building is very quiet as there are only two other units that are rarely inhabited. At the second floor, the original entrance of the apartment showcases an elegant handmade mirrored cloakroom that leads to a central room.
On its right wing can be found the master bedroom (with queen size bed) and a twin bedroom (with two single beds), both with en-suite bathroom (one with bathtub, the other with shower), the former facing north on the Grand Canal with a spectacular view, the latter facing south with a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens. On the left wing can be found a spacious and very relaxing living room with Grand Canal view and an office corner.
On the attic level there is a small but well-equipped kitchen with all the basic appliances, a dining room equipped with an extensible dining table that fits maximum 6 people, often used as the third bedroom with twin beds, plus a third older bathroom. The real treat is the panoramic terrace with 360 degrees view that is highly functional being close to the kitchen, perfect for romantic candlelight dinners. This “wintergarden” has windows on every side, therefore it is sheltered for the colder season or the hottest days. You could spend entire days admiring the beauty of Venice from this privileged spot!
The excellent location and view of this house is only part of the reason why we are so in love with it, in fact the interior design is elegant and refined, crafted by a well-known designer who used to live here. There are all the most important amenities including air conditioning in every room, Wi-Fi internet connection, big flat-screen TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, etc... The only limit is the accessibility being a 2nd and 3rd floor with no lift.

Brilliant apartment. It is a fantastic luxury to have a home in Venice looking up and down the Grand Canal and to be two minutes from the Guggenheim museum, vaperetto stop, and the most enchanting small streets behind the Acedemia. The flat is excellently appointed with everything needed to make oneself at home. This was my second visit and it certainly will not be my last. My thanks to the owners for allowing people to rent such a place

This home was beyond expectations. There are exceptional views from every room! The cake topper is the rooftop terrace; an amazing room to relax and enjoy the views of the canal. This home was perfect with all the amenities plus more. The washer AND dryer were an added bonus. Couldn't have asked for a nicer and more welcoming experience with the staff of Truly Venice!! We will definitely visit again!!

Well where do I start : from meeting us in the local square to booking out and correspondence over my lost items afterwards, my experience was top rate and I would recommend this apartment! We were 6 adults so the three bedrooms with three bathrooms was were perfect. The main bedroom looks over the canal with a small but very adequate bathroom. The second bedroom on the same level is a twin with a compact ensuite but certainly useable. The third band room upstairs was loft style and quaint and a twin. The bathroom off this bedroom is small lift style also. It contains the washing machine and dryer and a small bath/shower The turret upstairs is quite steep up a small staircase but we loved the uniqueness of it. We enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks and some meals up there because we couldn’t get enough of our private canal view listening to the gondoliers serenading their lucky customers. This was a fabulous addition to our trip and we loved staying here

Our stay in Venice was fabulous including our accommodation. The information provided by the Truly Venice staff before our arrival really helped us make our decision about where to stay. In addition, the arrival service was great and information available on services and restaurants very useful.

Off the tourist track but close to all sites. Superb position. The apartment has a lovely sitting room with views onto the Grand Canal. One bedroom has the same views. There is a small but adequate kitchen, but no dining room as such. However, to compensate there is a room above the main apartment. This has windows on all four sides and views down to the basin (see company photo), a small table and bench seats. It is a bit cramped but lovely for breakfast, informal meals and table-based games and recreation. My small grandchildren loved it.

The home is very pleasant and quiet and has a fantastic view. The location is excellent. We'll certainly rent it again.

The Guggenheim apartment was perfect for us. A wonderful Venetian home in a stunning position and the gazebo with its views of the Grand Canal adding an extra wow factor. We knew we wanted to stay in the Dorsoduro so this tucked away part of the city suited us. Everything we needed to do was easily walkable, including a night at the opera. It was a real wrench to tear ourselves away from this wonderful spot at the end of the week.

I took my daughter and two of my granddaughters to Venice for a week's stay at the Guggenheim apartment. We had space for everyone, had a very comfortable place to relax and rejuvenate between our sightseeing adventures and enjoyed a fantastic cooking class while there in the small but adequate kitchen. The apartment is very nicely set up, and met all our needs while in Venice. Its convenient location was perfect, the views from the windows amazing and the people we dealt with were very helpful and friendly. We had a great time at the apartment while enjoying our trip to Venice.
