Venetian residents love this area as it has remained authentic and quiet and not too touristy, it is close to ground and water public transportation and to the city centre. In the neighbourhood you can find excellent inexpensive traditional restaurants and bars as well as interesting artisan shops, away from the crowd.
The apartment is incredibly bright and has two private terraces with panoramic views over Venice, as well as a stunning Altana, the traditional wooden roof-top terrace, with 360° view over the city and part of the Canal Grande.
The privileged guests of the Cà Pesaro Terrace access from the elevator that lands directly into the apartment. From the entrance room you can access the bright and spacious living room and the brand new and fully equipped kitchen. The highlight of the apartment is the Veranda, used as dining room, accessible from both living room and kitchen. In warm weather you can open the glass sliding doors to experienced "al fresco dining", while in cooler weather the glass doors can be kept closed and the Veranda will be warmed up and cosy.
There are three spacious and well-appointed bedrooms: the stylish master bedroom has a king size mattress and has its own sunny terrace with outdoor furniture and views all the way to San Mark's Bell Tower; the second and the third bedrooms are also very bright and spacious and they can be prepared as king size beds or singles, simply separating them. The bedrooms are serviced by two nice bathrooms with shower. There is also a laundry room. All bedrooms are air-conditioned as well as the living room. The Cà Pesaro Terrace is equipped with Wi-Fi, large Smart TV, DVD player, satellite TV channels, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, induction stoves, large fridge and freezer, espresso coffee machine, kettle and every possible amenity.
On your arrival you will find some delicious Italian foods supplied by the lovely landlords who are real masters of hospitality. The Cà Pesaro Terrace is very quiet and comfortable in a stunning setting, and is suitable for both short- and long-term rentals. It is loved by everyone who has stayed there, as you can read from the long list of testimonials.

Although this top floor flat is next to a very convenient vaporetto stop (No 1 and boat to the airport), it is not a touristy area. The flat has a lift straight into the hallway. The three terraces are wonderful spaces. We ate out most of the time but had a couple of meals on the roof terrace overlooking Venice. We could see all the way to the Giudecca. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning efficient. The refuse collection is a little complicated but there is plenty of information on it available. Emanuele welcomed us warmly and talked us through local information. He was in touch during our two week stay to make sure we were ok. We can't praise this highly enough.

Let's start with Truely Venice who were great in organising the trip from start to finish. Then there was Emanuele the owner of the property who met us from the water taxi and furnished us with recommendation where to eat and shop. He then gave us the tour of the penthouse apartment. The apartment is 60m from San Stae Vapporetto where the water taxi dropped us off. The apartment is in a residential area so there are very few tourists in the area. However there are great restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes, a Coop mini market and lovely bakery all recommended by Emanuele. So what about the apartment? Three spacious double bedrooms, two superb bathrooms, comfortable lounge, fitted equipped kitchen, dining room and three roof terraces. Washing machine, drier and ironing facilities. TV and internet. All rooms air conditioned. You enter into an impressive hall and access your roof top accommodation by a lift. We have visited Venice four times and this has been the best location and value.

We had the pleasure to stay a week in this wonderful penthouse. It has absolutely everything you can ask for in a rental: two fantastic terraces and an altana at the top of the building with a perfect view over Venice, three comfortable bedrooms with their own air-con (one with its own terrace), a top range kitchen with microwave, induction cooking, freezer, Lavazza espresso machine, washing machine and so on. Furthermore a separate room for storage with dryer and ironing board. The living room with air-con has a large sofa and biiiiiig TV, the dining room a table for 6-8 and a really big sliding door opening up to one of the terraces, giving a feeling of sitting outside. The two bath rooms (one small, one big, both with showers) are great, too. Every room and feature was immaculate! We really liked the lift going directly into the apartment on the fourth floor. We were met directly at the vaporetto stop San Stae and given a personal introduction to the apartment and its features as well as brilliant information about restaurants and bars. To our delight the fridge came already stocked with a bottle of Prosecco and some Coca Cola and beer. The only thing not for us were the hard mattresses in the master bedroom, but as we are used to a water bed, we have this problem in almost every hotel and rental. It is a quiet neighborhood but bars and restaurants are only a very short walk away and the main vaporetto line No. 1 (just four stations from Piazzale Roma and three stations to Rialto Bridge) is 30m from the front door. The contact with Nicoletta and friend was great and answers always very fast. We can highly recommend staying here!!!

Our stay was excellent! The apartment is very big, immaculate, and well equipped. The pictures truly do not do it justice. We were met warmly by Emanuele and his recommendations and introduction to the apartment were wonderful! The apartment has a big fridge, washer and dryer, and the bedrooms are separated from the rest of the apartment by a door. This is great as it allows for people to sleep well while others are up. Emanuele was easy to contact for questions and any help we needed. It was truly an excellent experience. The apartment is also super close to the vaporetto stop at san stae and was in an excellent neighborhood. The grocery store was a quick 5 min walk and there are lots of great little places to eat in the area. I really can not recommend this apartment highly enough! Fantastic for groups of friends or families. Enjoy!!

We highly recommend Emanuele's and Nicoletta's Ca Pesaro apartment! It was an excellent experience from the moment we stepped off the ferry from the airport and were greeted warmly by Emanuele who met us at the vaporetto stop. We were incredibly fortunate to be the first guests in their newly renovated apartment, which was sparkling clean! The photos online do not do the apartment justice. Nicoletta gave us an orientation to the apartment and appliances (there is a separate dryer--so unusual for Italy!!), and Emanuele spent considerable time showing us restaurants personally vetted by him, and giving us suggestions for our first few days' activities, which was incredibly helpful. The apartment has absolutely everything you need, and is spacious and sunny. It is the penthouse apartment, which is accessible by a lift (very helpful if you have an older person, or lot of groceries) that opens directly inside the apartment. There is one terrace off the living area which gets afternoon sun, one private terrace off the master bedroom which gets morning sun, and a gorgeous rooftop terrace with skyline views and a peek-a-boo view of the Grand Canal. The rooftop terrace is accessed by one flight up the main stairs (outside the apartment), but is private to the penthouse apartment. In terms of comfort, the beds, pillows, sheets, etc were all incredibly comfortable. Nicoletta told us that the mattresses and sheets were brand new. The cable TV has a feature to switch most audio from Italian to English language. The kitchen is well-stocked with brand new appliances including a modern dishwasher, oven, range, large fridge (for Italy!) and washing machine. It has changed most compared to the online photos and is a bright and shiny modern, clean white. We particularly loved the location of the building, which is a 10 minute walk to Rialto Bridge, yet in a very quiet non-touristy neighborhood. We slept with windows open each night, but were never disturbed by outside noise. It's also a 2 minute walk from the nearest vaparetto stop, which is so helpful if you have an older person or slower walker with you. Tips: 1. Piazza San Giacomo is a 7 minute walk, and has several fun restaurants, a Coop grocery store, and vegetable store. (Be sure to ask for what you want at the vegetable store as he has it in the back, not necessarily out for you to see.) The piazza turned out to be our go-to every day for grocery shopping, or an evening drink. No need to go all the way to the touristy Rialto market for food--unless you want fresh fish. The apartment is equipped with a grocery cart, but i also brought packable lightweight grocery bags which turned out to be incredibly useful. 2. Follow Emanuele's restaurant advice. Every one of his recommendations were excellent, and when we went off piste we were disappointed. 3. We rented through Truly Venice, which recommended that we take a private water taxi from the airport for 120 Euros. Thinking this was very expensive, we elected to take the Alilaguna ferry to the nearest vaporetto stop. However we waited in line for the ferry for a good hour and a half--no fun when coming off an overnight flight, and causing poor Emanuele to wait for us for a long time. Also the Alilaguna starts at 6am, which was not early enough for our early return flight so we took a water taxi back to the airport at the end of our stay. It was able to pick us up right at the door to the apartment building (unless it is super low tide), sparing us dragging our luggage to the vaparetto stop (over a bridge up 6 steps and down 6 steps). We concluded that although the water taxi seems expensive, it is well worth it.

Emanuele met us at the Vaporetto at San Stae stop, one minute from the apartment. He was so helpful explaining things about it, and also spent time telling us where to shop and eat for the best value, including ideas for days out. Nothing was too much trouble, and he was at the end of the phone if there was a problem, or if we had any questions. We enjoyed sitting out in the winter sunshine on the terrace off the main bedroom, and the view from the large roof-top terrace was amazing. Centrally located, but off the main tourist trail, it's an ideal location to explore the delights of Venice. We had a lovely winter break.
December 2018, Alan (UK)
We stayed as a group of 6 in this wonderful apartment. The owner came to meet us off the vapereto and walked with us to the apartment. Nothing was to much trouble,he talked us through everything including recommendations of places to eat and ideas for days out. They had left us provisions and even included a bottle of Prosecco and a panettone! The apartment was beautiful and it was lovely to sit out on the terrace in the winter sunshine. We had a small problem with one of the showers and after a phone call to the owners it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. What a wonderful way to spend the new year. Thank you Emmanuel and Nicolette

A great location (5 mni walk from Rialto bridge) but set in a residential area so quiet but still with lots of lovey restuarants. The welcome from Nicolette and Emanualle (the owners) was so warm, passing on lots of local knowledge and great hints and tips (we followed most of them). The apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable and has everything you could hope for. Having the two terraces makes a huge difference as you can sit out and enjoy the weather. We went to the fish market (Rialto) and bought the best tuna we have ever tasted and cooked in one evening (the kitchen has everything including a bottle chiller in the freezer), enjoying the terrace off the dining room to its full effect. I booked through Truly Venice who were fantastic. Our prearranged private water taxi was waiting for us and dropped us litterally at the door. Everytime I contacted the company they responded quickly and were happy to arrange a taxi back to the airport for us, which duly turned up on time. Unfortunately not all the bedrooms have aircon but the hallway does so leaving the door open solved that problem. I would highly recommend Ca Pesaro Terrace and Truly Venice.

Nicolette and Emanuele’s apartment is a fabulous place to stay in Venice. The San Stae vaporetto stop is steps from the front door; 3 museums are right at the stop. It is ten minutes to walk to the train station or 20 to San Marco Piazza. If you want to get away from crowds, there are wonderful restaurants right here. We used all three terraces: one for morning, one for early evening, and another for night. The apartment is so spacious, beautifully designed, and fully equipped. Our family alternated cooking dinner in and enjoying the restaurants Lele recommended. His recommendations for where the Venetians eat made a big difference in our experience. We all wish we could stay longer and would love to come again.

We loved our stay at Ca Pesaro. The owner was very welcoming and knowledgable about the local area. The apartment was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen is small but was all we needed. The two bathrooms were compact but well equipped and stylish. There is an upstairs verandah, suitable for those with a head for heights. I found the balcony a more relaxing place to sit. The flat is in a quiet spot not too far from the Rialto Bridge. I wish we had been able to stay a couple of nights longer.

We stayed our last week in Italy in this incredible apartment. The description says it is about 1600 square feet, but I think it must be larger. 3 bedrooms, 2 bath. 3 fantastic terraces. The rooftop terrace with a 360 degree view, from the Campanile and St. Mark's Basilica in the distance, to the Grand Canal, to the many church spires--no words. We had some friends over for wine at sunset--they were part of a tour group, staying 2 days in Venice in a small hotel room. They could not believe the space and kept asking how we found this. And, as amazing as the apartment was, that is not even the most important part--the owners Nicoletta and Emanuele treat you as family. They met us at the San Stae vaporetto and then spent over an hour with us, showing us the flat and going over their recommendations for restaurants to make our stay fantastic. They have prepared maps and booklets of recommendations. They clearly love their building and we felt honored that they let us stay here. When we trekked in to busier sections--Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marcos--we always felt glad to come home to this quiet apartment. It is right by the San Stae vaporetto stop so it is easy to get to places. We bought a 7 day pass and just jumped on and off. There are great restaurants right in the area--listen to Emanuele and Nicoletta. I loved walking the streets, crossing bridges and canals, going out in the morning for espresso and croissants. This is a special place. Thank you Nicoletta and Emanuele. Perhaps we will be able to return someday.

Surprisingly spacious, exceptionally clean, friendly and helpful owners. Out of the crazy tourist path, yet just a stone's throw from a vaporetto stop. The outdoor terraces (3!!) were a treat and we used them all! 3 good-sized bedrooms, 2 full baths, large living areas (take care to the attention to detail by the owners). Wish we were back having a spritz on the roof! Won't stay anywhere else!! Ciao Ciao!
May 2017, Chris (Dallas, USA)
We are a family of six. When we arrived we reeived a warm welcome from owners. The apartment was settled as requested with a double and two twins. Everything was in a very good order, with new bathrooms. The apartment is at the fourth floor (with lift), and the area is out of main drag and with good selection of places to eat nearby, bakery on doorstep, and a large coop just a five minute walk. Rialto Bridge / Market is ten minute walk and St Mark's twenty. We didn't use the roof top terrace much (just for occasional drinks) as the main living area with terrace is so pleasant and right next to the kitchen.

This past May my family of five spent four days in Venice staying at Ca Pesaro Terrace. We could not have found a more ideal apartment or location - easy walking distance to everything on the main island, but on a canal in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Upon our arrival by water taxi right to the front door of the apartment we were greeted by the wonderful owners, Nicoletta and Emanuele, who took the time to show us around the apartment and familiarize us with the neighborhood, including suggestions for excellent local restaurants and directions to the local grocery store. In addition to a welcoming bottle of Prosecco, they provided a useful notebook full of details about restaurants, museums and sites to see in Venice. The 4th floor penthouse apartment with elevator is spacious, comfortable, nicely furnished and - to the delight of my three adult children - it has excellent WiFi service. Best of all, the apartment has two terraces - one off the dining room with a view of a beautiful garden below, one off the master bedroom facing San Marco - and the most wonderful roof top altana, from which you have a panoramic view of the roof tops of Venice as well as a bit of the Grand Canal. After our long days exploring Venice, we spent every evening before dinner on the roof top terrace enjoying wine and cheese and the truly spectacular view. We all have such fond memories of Venice and our stay at Ca Pesaro Terrace, and we very much hope to return there on our next trip to Venice.

Loved this property. The home was very spacious and clean. Everything we needed was there form laundry soap to bath soap. The lovely owners - Nicoletta and Manuel, even supplied coffee and a bottle of proseco upon our arrival. They have put a lot of effort into the comfort of their guests from the air conditioning in each bedroom to the best pillows and most comfortable mattresses. They also took the time to sit with us to give use tips on where to eat and shop - and they made dinner reservations for us. Also, when I realized that I had left our passports at the house, Nicoletta overnighted them to me! The roof top views are amazing as well. Location is just steps away from a great pizzaria and the vapparotto stop. I would highly recommend this place for your stay in Venice!

My wife and I stayed one week in June at Ca Pesaro Apartment and thought it was marvelous. The apartment itself was tastefully furnished in a way that blended old and modern. At the same time, it looked smart & elegant while establishing a comfortable and relaxing living space.(We've noticed quite a few apartments on the web that look over-elaborate over-decorative. Ca Pesaro felt homely) One of the best things about our choice was its position. The nearest waterbus/vaporatto,( at San Stae) was about 50 meters from the front door. And when we got a water taxi from the airport it was able to deliver us right up to the door step. (By the way- the hosts Nicoletta & Emanualle met us at the doorway and were very friendly and welcoming. They were also easy to deal with) Ca Pesaro is very central. You can walk almost anywhere on the main island in about twenty minutes. Rialto or San Marco takes about 10 minutes, yet the area around the apartment is quiet and peaceful. There was a useful shopping trolley in the apartment and we were able to get all our provisions within easy walking distance. We would say that the apartment description is fair and accurate and really we really enjoyed our stay.
July 2016, Tighabhinn (United Kingdom)
Lovely apartment, easily big enough for our 5 adult party. Situated extremely close to San Stae church and waterbus stop, good restaurants nearby, and co-op shop 5 mins away for milk etc. Rialto market and bridge is an easy stroll, and St Mark's not much further - you can see the Basilica's towers from the apartment's rooftop terrace, and you could pretty much chuck a stick in the Grand Canal from up there too, if you were so minded. Hosts are passionate about eating well in Venice, have loads of tips, and were fast to reply to our questions.
April 2016, Kate (United Kingdom)
This apartment is PERFECT!! The apartment is well presented & very clean. The owners go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect, they have all the information you need to find your way around Venice, where to buy the cheeses, meats, tips on how to make pasta, which restaurants to go too, everything you need to know for your stay. They are very friendly and know how to make you feel so welcome. We would highly recommend this apartment, we were a family of 7, there was enough room for us all to enjoy our 4 day stay in Venice. Next time we visit Venice we will definitely be staying at this apartment again.
October 2014, Jamie (Australia)
We stayed in Ca Pesaro in September for 4 days, I could have stayed a lifetime... There were 6 of us ladies travelling from Ireland in celebration of my sister's birthday. The lift arrived right into the apartment and first impression was excellent. The living room and dining room were spacious and very elegantly decorated. A big advantage is that the bedrooms (2 twins 1 very comfy king) are separated by the hallway from the living area so everyone found their own quiet space if needed. I have to say that the balconies were my favourite, beautiful views over the Venice rooftops and down to the canals below, just amazing, a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, just off the beaten tourist track but still close to everything. It even seemed to have its own homely atmosphere from the minute we walked in! Thank you so much for a very very memorable stay in Venice. From a Truly Irish fan...!
October 2014, Carol (Ireland)
This was our second stay at Ca Pesaro Terrace, we loved it so much the first time we came back! Nicolette and Emanuele are the perfect hosts, always available for any questions and they truly make you feel at home. The apartment is immaculate and perfectly equipped for your home away from home in Venice. Location is one reason we came back to this charming apartment but also the apartment itself makes for a peaceful retreat after exploring the narrow pathways of Venice. The apartment is quiet, light and airy with two private outdoor terraces. Perfect for sipping your prosecco and enjoying your prosciutto while planning your next day's adventure. The view from the Altana is outstanding, particularly at sunset. You will feel so special up here while having a spritz, listening to the bells and admiring the Grand Canal. This is a perfect place to stay. We can't wait to come back again!

Recently my family and I visited Venice and stayed at Ca Pesaro. What a wonderful time we had. And what contributed a great deal to that wonderful time was our residence. It was comfortable, well appointed and in a great location. It was obvious that the owner took a great deal of pride in her offering as the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and the other amenities were first class and the views from each of the patios/decks were spectacular. The appliances were all up to date, the air conditioners worked wonderfully. Our hostess was cordial, friendly and most helpful. It was a place and a location that I would readily recommend to anyone who wants a memorable experience in Venice.

The apt is splendid, done in simple but elegant taste, very clean, with a variety of beautiful carpets on the terrazzo floors that made it a home away from home. The apt has a stunning dining area where we ate some communal evening meals and the kitchen is modern. The uppermost terrace provides distant views of I Friari, St Marks and other familiar landmarks and will be ideal for relaxing in spring and summer. Care has been lavished on the apt by their Venetian owners Emanuel and Nicoletta who provide their guests with reams of info on the great eating places in the neighborhood and are always ready to help being only a phone call away if an urgent need arises. Daily morning garbage round up in the Venetian streets is a model for many a city. Very quiet at night since the area is not on a major Venetian tourist artery even though the Grand Canal is right there a few feet away. The best compliment the apt received is that friends from Florence who were invited and had said that they would come for a casual day or two, after seeing the apt stayed the whole week !!

My wife and I were traveling with our two boys (ages 9 and 11) and my wife's parents (early 70s). The owner met us at the canal and actually had the taxi pull right up to our doorstep! We were grateful to have a beautiful and functional lift to carry us up to our condo each day. Let me say that the pictures of the unit are spot on -- it's beautiful! And the owner was so friendly. Without solicitation, he insisted on sitting down with us after a tour of the unit to give us a locals lay of the land. It's obvious that he takes great pride in the city and gave us a great selection of restaurants and bars to choose from to include what sort of foods to expect and how much we'd pay. I say the terraces and roofdeck are what set it apart. We all went up to the roof deck for sunset on two consecutive evenings to enjoy the sunset. Another thing I like about the unit is that it's an easy walk to the Rialto Bridge and San Marco square, but you can just as easily walk the other way and see a much more quiet and beautiful less traveled portion of the city. There are a few bakeries and restaurants about 150 meters walk so you can eat close to the unit, but away from the higher prices of the more traveled areas. I can't say enough good things about the hospitality, location, and beauty of our stay at Ca Pesaro Terrace. It's worth every penny!!!

We found Truly Venice exemplary in their service - quick and efficient in responding to enquiries, and invariably friendly and helpful. We were particularly grateful for their assistance at the end of our holiday, when calls to water taxi companies for the run to the airport met with 'sorry. fully booked' responses. Within half an hour, Truly Venice sorted this out and we had a straightforward first leg for our return journey. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, as advertised. Best of all is the roof terrace, from which one can see across the rooftops of the city (plus a sliver of the Grand Canal, which lies about twenty metres from the apartment). Access is via the (very quiet) lift - essential if you have heavy bags or tired children to deal with, although there are stairs for those who wish to stay in shape. The kitchen is big enough for two people to work in simultaneously and all necessities (pots and pans, cutlery etc.) were provided. In short, the apartment offers quick access to pretty much anywhere one might want to visit in Venice, but without the noise and expense associated with an even more central location. Last, a word about the owners of the apartment, whose personal attention to their visitors' comfort and satisfaction deserves the highest praise. In addition to welcoming us on arrival, and ensuring that the water taxi pulled up quite literally outside our front door, they spent at least half an hour telling us useful things about places to visit, making terrific suggestions about local restaurants, and answering our questions. The fine bottle of Prosecco left in the fridge for us was also a very nice touch.
April 2016, Ted (United Kingdom)
This was a fantastic apartment on the top floor with views and balconies on three sides: well-stocked, clean, modern inside, nice breeze, sunny, etc. It is near a Water Taxi Stop, the Natural History Museum, small local shops, and about a 29 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. In a word, it was "perfect" for the six of us. It was a 30 second walk to the end of a pier where we were delivered by a private water taxi from the train station and picked up to go to the Venice airport real early in the morning. We would definitely stay here again, if available!
December 2013, R.P. (United States)
A beautiful apartment with a lot of space in a very nice “Venezia". The apartment is incredible, a lot of space, three bedrooms, two badrooms, three balconies. Decorated in an elegant and beautiful way, that makes you feel at home immediately. The fact that it has an elevator that stops in your apartment, makes it very special for Venice! The vaporetto stop San Stae of linea 1 is very closely and in the area there are a lot of nice special shops and restaurants, that serve very good food. The art museum Cà Pesaro is just around the corner. We loved the apartment and would definitely recommend it!
January 2014, Henk (Netherland)
We have been many times in Venice, in 5 stars hotels, but staying in Ca' Pesaro was so relaxing and pampering in particular after the hustle and bustle of the city! It is really what you need. We so much enjoyed the tranquility of the veranda, having our morning breakfast in it and our lunches on the splendid 360' degrees view on a large and proper Venice altana. It is all very clean and new with all kind of facilities, high speed Wifi connection with its own lift taking you directly at home- rare for Venice!! amazing location at 1 minutes from San Stae Vaporetto and Ca Pesaro. I do recommend it especially for long-term stay. Not to mention Nicoletta and Emanuele, the most charming couple of Venice. We certainly will come back.

Thank you so much for a fantastic stay. We had a great time. Beautiful city, beautiful apartment. Thanks again.

We all had such a wonderful time in Venice. It was the highlight of our trip. Venice is so beautiful. We followed many of your suggestions and had beautiful lunches and dinners. It was all fantastic. Venice is so overwhelming in history. I could stay a year and find so much to do. It is a truly amazing city. It is very inspiring. You have such a beautiful apartment. Lovely design space and setting. Thank you for having us to stay. It was also a treat seeing you as we left Venice. Thank you so much for everything. With very best wishes.
