Easily accessible through a single flight of stairs, the apartment is ideally laid out with a central living room located between the two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower. The main bedroom looking on the squaare has a comfortable king size bed (that cannot be divided) and the second bedroom has two single beds that can remain single or that can be prepared as a king size bed. The kitchen is located next to the dining area. Antique wooden beamed ceilings and original Venetian terrazzo flooring guarantee that historic touch that is often requested by our guests.
The apartment offers every comfort and comes equipped with air-conditioning, Smart Hub TV, fast Wi-Fi, washing machine, dishwasher, oven/microwave, 4-burner gas stove, big fridge with freezer, kettle and more. Even in summer there is good natural cross ventilation that usually makes the A/C unnecessary.
The balcony overlooking the square offers a unique opportunity to soak up the Venetian atmosphere, including children playing, friends chatting over a coffee, people walking dogs and so on... There is a café bar below the apartment that is only open during the day, perfect for breakfast. At night the entire district, including Campo della Bragora becomes quiet.
Landmarks in the neighbourhood include the Arsenale, the famous naval harbour and boatbuilding site of the Serenissima Republic. For centuries the most powerful fleet in the world was built here; now it houses some of the Navy offices and part of the Biennale Art and Architecture exhibition. Piazza San Marco and the Palazzo Ducale are under 10 minutes’ walk along the splendid Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront. Many restaurants enjoyed by locals and attractive and authentic shops are hidden in this area of the city, which is noticeably less touristy or frenetic than the San Marco District.
We recommend this apartment also for long-term rentals, to anyone, really.

We stayed in this unit three years ago. I love the location because it is still an active neighborhood where families live, work and play. In the evenings there were kids playing soccer and other games while the old folks watched them. But at night the open plaza this faces is quiet for your good night's sleep. Some of the old furniture has been upgraded. Our only problem was a lack of light in the food preparation area. There is no light over the kitchen sink and the stove top. That would be a big improvement. But everything else is just fine. The bathrooms are decent and the bedrooms are separated so each couple has some privacy. I would return happily. One of the assets of the place is its accessibility from the airport. You catch the Alilaguna blue line boat at the airport and get off at the Arsenale stop. Tickets are available in the airport itself. Then after a bit of a walk, you arrive at the blue line dock, you are loaded on to the boat in an orderly fashion, have a nice ride, then get off at Arsenale. If you are a bit older as am I, the crew is very good about loading and unloading your luggage. The apartment has easy access from the dock on the Riva degli Schiavone where you disembark. An agent will meet you on the square-there are a couple of cafes on the square where you can arrange to meet.

We rented a two bedroom, two bath apartment on Campo Bragora from your firm for last November. We were very pleased with the service and with the apartment. The fact that you publish an accurate floor plan for each rental unit was an enormous factor in our choosing your service. Thank you.

Lovely Venice apartment. The staff at Truly Venice were professional and very helpful during our stay. Bragora was an ideally located and comfortable home for our small family.

Easy in and easy out. The arrangements for entry and exit were easy. On our way out we simply left the keys in the unit. I am familiar with Venice so the area is convenient to vaporetto stops as well as to St. Marks Square--yet far enough away as to have grocery and wine shops as well as restaurants directed at residents rather than tourists. Bravo for TrulyVenice for including a floor plan of each apartment in the listings. If all agents followed that practice fewer tourists would be unpleasantly surprised when they see their apartment for the first time. Photos are unreliable. Floor plans are reliable. If I booked an apartment again in Venice, I would do so only through TrulyVenice. Their agents were efficient, responsive and seemed eager to please.

Following our return from Venice we would just like to thank you and your staff for giving us the opportunity to enjoy a truly magical week in Venice. Chiara met us at the Arsenale vaporetto stop and escorted us to our apartment (Bragora). She gave us all the necessary information and pointed us to a restaurant close-by for an evening meal. She obviously called in at the restaurant on her return home and mentioned us so when we arrived we discovered she had booked us a table. The meal was just what we needed after a long flight (delayed due to the air traffic control strike) and very tasty. The rest of the week was just as wonderful. One of our daughters is a student of Architecture so we spent two days at the Architectural Biennale and then did many of the usual tourist activities, hired a gondola, went up the Campanile, visited the Guggenheim Collection, visited Murano etc... However, we will have to return as there is so much to see and do! Who could tire of Venice? The apartment was comfortable and clean and in such a lovely, peaceful square. We would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and will certainly be happy to book with Truly Venice again. Indeed we met a lady on our return trip who told us that she often books with you and that she travels to Venice 4/5 times a year as she loves it so much!! She, too, was complimentary about Truly Venice. We do hope to return at some point but in the meantime, thank you, once again.
